Star Fox 64 - Hard Path - Full Playthrough

Here is a full playthrough on the hardest difficulty of the classic: Star Fox 64!
I thought the game aged well, but it's by no means perfect. Aiming your shots seemed very difficult, making the homing charge shot basically essential. Rendering the game at a higher resolution than native N64 makes some of the low polygon models look a little funny.
Otherwise the game is a blast. It's pretty short, so you can get through it in a single sitting and the branching paths give it a lot of replay value.

Get a simulator, if you can still stand to play a video game anymore. I'm building a system for my GREAT nephew. It's just a raspberry pi with a 128 GB SD Card. Total system cost is around $70 bucks. It basically has nearly all the games of the N64. How far we've come.

I used to play this game so much as a child in the late 90s. Today , I am in my 30s, and had a very stressful day at work. I somehow came across this on KZbin and can’t tell you how therapeutic it was. It took me back to simpler times.

Playing these games really takes me back to an entirely different headspace. This is before I had my first job, when Pizza Hut still had the best indoor dining experience with red cups and piping hot cast iron pans, serving personalized pizzas, and playing also outdoors for hours on end and my parents would never question where I am until midnight. I'd play this game when I was bored and I would play it all night long. Probably two to three times over and beating the game just because it was repetitively fun. I plan it so much that my console overheated and it would freeze up on certain missions and I would actually have to start the Nintendo 64 over just to play it after it cooled off and I would have to put that aside for 30 minutes while I went to go play basketball outside for a while. Even though I could probably afford to get this console and kind of recreate the pizza back then, I just don't have the time and more importantly drive like I used to play like that anymore. These days I just feel empty and unfulfilled that some of the dreams that I had at the kid when I played games like this. I'd be somewhere else doing better things in life going on cool vacations. Instead, I just found myself trying to find the best remote job that allows me to do as little work as possible to get paid as much as I can as our financial economy collapses and we draw closer and closer to world war 3.

Nostalgia. I still own this great game. Yeah, the Hard path is tough, but if you want REAL challenge, try doing this on Expert difficulty AND get all the medals! Did that, but jeez, not a small feat.

Lylatwars64/StarFox64 is my favourite computer game of all time. I used to play it alot when I first got my Nintendo 64 computer game back in March 1997 when I was 14 years old. I am now 41 years old and I still play it. This game provided so many good memories of my childhood in my mid to late teen years 14/15 years old to 19 years old between the years of 1997 to 2001.

The first missions hard map was the only line I hadn't explored so I never saw all these missions, and whilst I knew how to idk why I never did. First time seeing since playing it when I was probably 6 or 7 and I'm in my 20s now. Even after watching KZbin videos I don't know how I missed it. I love the Gundam reference in the first mission and all these years I just somehow missed it.

You have to keep him Falco through the first half of the Corneria mission and fly through the arches. Then Falco will state that he has found the target and will tell Fox to follow him and then fly straight through the waterfall. This is easily missable and easy to mess up if you don't know where to go beforehand.

To me, Andross's brain here looks similar to Cain's brain from RoboCop 2. Both brains are brains with the eyeballs connected, and look frightening, though I personally find Cain's brain and eyeballs the most frightening.
