Its expensive no doubt, but again Mondo does have payment options. For my He-Man and She-ra figures, I made 4 payments around $70 USD. And I think lower and longer plans are available. Personally Im now all in on this Mondo line as both the She-Ra and He-Man figures are outstanding. My anticipation for Battle Cat is extremely high. And now I have Trap Jaw to look forward to! Also, if my Mondo Trap Jaw comes "broken", like my He-Man did I'll just return it for a new one, as I do with all defective products I receive. Although Im sure He will be fine like my She-Ra figure, she arrived perfect in every in every way. Thanks for the video.

He looks great, but no room for him. Need to keep spots open for Skeletor Deluxe and Beastman. Add to that - the concern about if this will have any QC issues. I'm still waiting for the replacement body for one of my Deluxe He-Man. I'll pass to see how the QC plays out for this one. I get the notion of not condemning a company for one QC issue, but my approach is more "trust but verify". This figure will definitely determine if I buy any more Mondo figures. Fingers crossed because these look amazing!

Looks pretty cool but I kind of feel burned a little. The 1st Mondo He-Man I bought wouldn't stay together at the waste when moved. I'm waiting for the replacement. The cost does not reflect the value to me. I love the way they look but I feel like I'm truly wasting money, first impressions are everything...

I don't see what the problem is 🤷‍♂️ Mondo had one bad release with a QC failure that could be argued was caused by user error, and to the best of my knowledge Mondo offered a fairly generous compensation to the affected customers 🤔 I was satisfied with Mondo before the He-man Deluxe figure, and I'm looking forward to the upcoming releases. If something that could be fixed easily with a little bit of epoxy or super glue is enough to make you lose sleep with worry or quit the line then collecting Mondo "action figures" probably isn't a good brand for you LOL.

@Mr data I highly doubt that. Breaking your "toys" because you are trying to make it do something that it wasn't intended to do isn't "poor engineering" it's ignorance on the consumer's part.

There was no user error on my figure, it was broken, or rather not glued properly straight out of the box. Im pretty sure I can just glue mine back together. Personally after I receive my replacement body, I will attempt to just glue the original body and use it to display the additional armor options.

What was the excuse last time? Does a few QC issues mean that all subsequent figures will have those same issues?

@@galactus4mac “a few” this was a wide spread problem. Most likely we will continue to see far more problems like this. Did they change the factory? Did they upgrade the material? Was this made as an adjacent item? Do these items share repainted parts? Unless they change these variables the problems will persist.

​@@galactus4mac They did not specify, but it was more than a few. I got a defective/poorly glued figure myself. It could have been bad glue, not enough cure/dry time, or just lazy or improperly trained employees that did not assemble the figure properly. One can only assume they have looked it to it and have addressed and corrected the issue.

@@GRAYMATTER_235 I don’t know I tend to believe most companies have good intentions and will correct issues after something like the last few QC issues and they have. The customer service from Mondo is unparalleled imho. I have every MotU Mondo figure and haven’t had any issues, not saying the issues didn’t/don’t exist. I and few of my collector friends just happen to get good copies. But like all companies who manufacture goods, no different than say auto manufacturers where recalls are ever present. In the end Mondo took care of everyone as far as I know including myself for She-Ra sending out a second head sculpt something I didn’t need as my She-Ra head sculpt wasn’t crushed.

@@PedroLopez-cy1kl from what I understand hearing the online stories about others getting figures with QC issues Mondo has indeed reached out to those affected and is trying to rectify problems. One can only hope that moving forward they do better in inspecting things that come off the line.
