I think Cat's Lair will be much bigger than the scale you came up with here. There should be at least 3 levels of play on the playset. This look more like an LJN-esque Cat's Lair which I hope is not what we are getting. Really appreciate you taking the time to do this Jay!

About 36 inches tall with about 24 inches wide talking the size of the current Thundercats. Size .

Snake Mountain is bigger than Castle Grayskull, but if you're asking if its bigger than Grayskull, yes quite a bit.

@@megajayretro weell what I did before your video was shrink the Castle image so the height of the doors were as large as the Lair because figures of both lines (they're the same scale) would have to clear the doors without bumping their heads. You would see that Lair is at minimum the same height as Snake Mountain but definitely has 3 levels, but not enough for a 4th floor (not including the head.

Spot on with all ur predictions but price..cats lair is going be 1000uro ...if you compare the price of a figure in 2019 to 2023 the scale that from snake mountain..1000uro easy..cats lair looks like it inckudes lights also..i just wish we coukd get a animated series perfect head..i bet the small door at the front pulls out to reveal steps to get to the floor above it

I don't mind the head, but yes animation accurate would have been much better but just the chance to get a Lair is amazing!

Allready this new thundertank is huge,imagine now also the money that would needed to buy a proper scale cars lair! 😅 They want to make something affordable and also in a good size to fit in a room! As as it seems they made an awesome job! 😉 Still worying about the pricetag since super7 is a pretty expensive company as well! 🤔

Well, I paid more for the robosen Optimus Prime. But the issue here is space: I got the tank, and I’m gonna have to stop there. Maybe I’ll have more space someday. For now, I am only in the market for a rerelease of a Ghostbusters firehouse, or to get an old one off eBay.

Imagine how cool it would be if they sold separately an optional "Master base stand", where it would be a base stand with the full steps and audience standing area! You would place the actual cats liar on top of it, and the cat legs would have a telescoping mechanism that would let you extend the legs to compensate the height and place the paws flat on the ground!

If I remember correctly shipping in the US for Snake Mountain was an additional 150, and I imagine that that will also be higher, probably 200. Shipping was the reason I couldn't justify the purchase of snake mountain.

You are correct, but I think Super7 has made huge strides in shipping as the Thundertank was more reasonable for the shipping ($80 to New York) and is quite the beast of a "playset" Vehicle as well.

I feel making it Ultimates size is a mistake. Don't get me wrong I'm the biggest thundercats fan out there however no matter what you you are severely limiting play features by having an ultimate s size. Plus the raising paws are almost completely pointless next to Ultimate s figures. I'm not a big fan of the reaction figures themselves, but it would make more sense for that scale. If it is Ultimates size it would be perfect for a Hot Wheels Thundertank.

I think the Paws are not as small as Hot Wheels Vehicles, more the scale of Vintage In my Opinion. But the scale is fine, Snake Mountain is Huge, but also manageable as long as you have the space!

Thundercats Ultimates Cats Lair would be cool but due to the fact that it is by Super 7 it is a hard pass like most of there stuff dude to price they charge for it. I use to get alot of the Reaction figures but when it come to there Ultimates TMNT,MOTU,Thundercats and ect i have passed on it big time. So i would rather get the LJN Cats Lair
