It does look bugged! Look at a still-frame of the start of the fight with Elite Duelist at 28:36: Rigged gave First Aiden and Motherboard haste and the Core went from 52 to 112 damage right away. However, the Core does not have any haste on it, so Motherboard should not have procced. Yet it seems to have done so! This can NOT be explained as being due to Mixed Messages for three reasons: 1) Mixed Messages says it hastes a weapon item upon USING a non-weapon item. Hasting a non-weapon is not the same as using. 2) Most importantly, if you look carefully, the Core is not hasted but the effect still procced 3) In the fight against Dooley at 10:09, Rigged gave Chris Army Knife and Cool LEDs haste. Reto didnt have Mixed Messages yet, and still the core was getting dmg from motherboard (from 20 to 40)

He has mixed message passive which gives a weapon haste when any non weapon gains haste. So the core is getting haste whenever anything else gains it, giving it damage. I don’t think it’s a bug with motherboard

It is not a bug. All of his items are hasting the core because of one of the skills he had, which was giving it damage. So end result is just more damage on the core every time any item went off

In the final fight, the core attacked five times, scaling four times before it's first attack alone, for a total scaling from 422 base to 1262 per hit (so at least 28 triggers of the mother board?), doing a total damage of 5,474 damage all within 9 seconds, plus applying slows and freezes. In fairness, this board didn't get frozen or slowed in return. Regardless though, forget Pyg's BOBs, Lion Canes or Skyscrapers, I think we found the best Dooley counter out there boys.

It was already start to be known. A few days ago I saw the first motherboard abuse and then the day after heard some content creator mention it. The one I lost to was even more broke then yours. I died with 7k hp and shielding lizard before I could even stack 200 poison on them (under 5 seconds)

A random bronze or bronze+ skill. That is to say any skill you can find at bronze tier and later on sometimes upgraded versions on skills that can be found at bronze tier.

I feel like Motherboard alone is not that busted. On normally arranged boards it seems to be fair or even slightly "low profit" for blocking 2 slots. Depends on the CDR I guess. But in tandem with Mixed Message it apperently goes bonkers in the right build. Nice to know 😅

Considering it seems to be working on _all haste effects anywhere_ and more importantly _ignoring internal cooldown for those procs if they happen at the same time_ it is definitely pretty busted even on its own. There are a lot of ways to find general haste. You mostly just need to be on a damage core and find one of the board haste large items, metronome, one of the many core haste skills, or even just a collection of small haste items etc. It is very clearly bugged out of its mind lol.

@Retromation You are right. In other runs Motherboard alone could carry you to ten wins if you apply enough haste. But as you said in the video already: This seems to be an Oopsie by the devs. Really looked like it pumped the core whenever any item got hasted. But if this is fixed and Motherboard does what it's description says it should be perfectly fine for a medium item. Now regarding your run: Even with Motherboard doing as intended the damage would scale like crazy because of Mixed Messages. 6 small items and a medium (some of them hasted and all of their CDs moderately reduced throughout the run) hasting the core with each activation and ramping its damage. Gives a lot of freedom regarding the used items I think. Without the skill you would have to focus harder on Haste items to fill the board to get the same numbers in a fight.
