i think the right way to make a dodge based character would be to make enemies deal less damage but make it so there are a lot more of them. when the risk of getting hit is so great that its better to ignore the dodge mechanic entirely the character concept has failed.

Mod idea: character doesn’t take damage from enemies but has to kill a set number of enemies every round and then takes damage for every second over a decreasing time limit.

So there is an item I believe from either Patamod or Diversified, Keyz' Feather I think that caps your dodge at 90 instead of whatever it is, imagine it with this guy, you could literally stack infinite damage in later waves and especially endless with enemies increased attack speed.
