I Remade The BEST Pokemon ROM Hacks Sprites

More specifically: The BEST Pokemon ROM Hack, that was released in 2014! Got you good there for a bit, didn't I?
Anyways, in today's video I will be diving into one of the Pokemon Community's classic Pokemon romhacks, which goes by the name of Pokemon Sweet! Not only I'll give it a small review and overwiew, but I'll also take a few of it's Pokemon Designs and remake them in the Gen 5 animated Pokemon sprite form, while also actually adding the remade forms back into the actual ROM!

I will say, with the licorice being sweet thing with Liganium, it's actually based on how in colder parts of the world the only source of sugar or sweetness they could grow was licorice root

i do like how liganium does have the flower part of the licorice plant, but i kinda wish the original design and the remade design combined it with the rest of the licorice design lol, it would be cool to see them combined

I know it'll take way longer, but I feel like backsprites would add way more personality! Mawnana needs it mostly because of the whole "Mawile looking back" sprite they usually have.

Thank you so much for doing Pokémon Sweet! One of my favorite ROM Hacks back in the day. Mawnana looks incredible! More unique design that looks incredible in motion! Slugnut and Pumpkinete are just perfection, everything I wanted them to be! I do think Liganium could’ve used a bit more to help it be distinguished as a LIME type, but the design still looks super good, and dex accurate finally! Banger video man, hope to see you continue :)

Since this is one of the best rom hack game that changes everything and has a very awesome story and characters, and is one of my absolute favorites...I'm going to be very critical on your designs lol let's get started! 1.Mawnana: the og design may be extremely simple, but it's surprisingly effective! Your design is definitely adorable and is definitely better, the only thing that is bothering me is that it looks like the banana peel has been peeled abit to much. Still! 8.5/10! 2.Liganium: the og design is a total letdown to its pre-evolutions...but it's ok? Your design does look sooooo much better...buuuutttt...the mouth is the only issue to me. Still, 9/10! 3.Slugnut: yeah...the og design is kinda lackluster....but your version? Yeah it wins hands down! 10/10 4.Pumpkinette: it's og is cute but could definitely be better. Your design however does take away it's cuteness and made it slightly scary which works though! 10/10! 5.Smorelax: ok..while the og is just a recolor of snorlax but with a marshmallow on a stick..it's somehow perfect! Your version...it's..slightly cute? But it's just missing the charm of the original and is the only one that really doesn't work...not bad at all, but it can't beat the og. 5/10

Actually, I like these designs of both Pumpkinette and Smorelax even better than the crappier versions. Pumpkinette looks very Halloween-ish 🎃, while Smorelax looks very cute and awesome at the same time! So yeah...10/10! 👍❤

I was hoping you'd make Mawana forward facing, really happy, one arm holding onto the base of it's hair as it uses a fully open banana peel to fly as helicopter blades, revealing the full banana in a knife shape. I still adore the sprite you made, though, make no mistake!

if the meganium's shiny isn't based on black licorice, we riot. Also the colors on the underside of the banana on the Mawhile seem a bit flat. maybe add some brown spots or a deeper bit of shading to break it up a little

I wonder if we'll see any remakes of Pokémon Wack. It's certainly got a lot (and I mean a _lot,_ I think nearing 5,000 at this point) of designs to work with, though like with Pokémon Clover a good chunk of those concepts are uh... let's just say not for good boys and girls.

I absolutely loved Pumpkinete so much it kinda reminds me of the Pumpmon digimon but as a Pokémon and I'm a sucker for these kinds of stuff. Also, don't call Smorelax an abomination if you haven't seen Snakewood's Skylax, that thing is nightmare fuel and easily tops Gorelax in being creepy. Anyway, I really hope this become a series but I feel like it would probably be better to stick to old games like Sweet and Snakewood, stuff like Insurgence and Clover are too new imo while still having people working on
