Or a first person survival horror game based on Halloween 1978. They can put together three unique campaigns: one through the eyes of Laurie Strode being stalked by Michael Myers throughout Haddonfield, interacting with characters from the film. The second through the eyes of Dr. Loomis out to snuff the pure evil of Myers after he escaped from the asylum. The third through the eyes of Myers himself stalking the townsfolk of Haddonfield, methodically moving through the environment like a true predator. And when he finally steals the Halloween mask from the store and puts it on, his muffled breathing can be heard in the audio. At certain stages all three campaigns will interact with one another. I fully realize that this is pretty much a pipe dream, but if you could get a developer with honest love for the lore of the franchise, recreate the late 70s aesthetic, I think it could be an amazing experience.

It is expensive, but you have to remember the company had to license not only Halloween, but Evil Dead as well. I'm willing to bet if this was an unlicensed game they would have been 15 to 20 bucks each instead.

For the content with the game and the extra goodies with exploring the arcade cave/ cabin in the woods outside of the game plus the 4 characters across 20 levels with the modest replay factor, i think it's worth the price at $50. I don't think they should've sold the dLC characters separately. if you buy the bundle pack everything is included and i think that is the best value is the bundle pack.

Yeah honestly Laurie Strode and Kelly Maxwell should’ve been unlockable characters instead of paid DLC. IMO it was a massive miss on their part as they could’ve served as a great reward and incentive to go through the games again without having to put more money into it. Had Laurie and Kelly been rewards for the beating the game and not DLC, that $25 price would be a lot easier to justify

For me it was worth it, but I got it on ps5 so I can play it on my phone as well while on break at work so that might be why. Also I did get the collectors edition, which did get delayed, but bossteam was awesome enough to send us a digital code while we wait for the collectors edition to come.

It's a shame that there's no real difference between characters/enemy types/mechanics. If there were, and mixing/matching changed gameplay up, the price would be more acceptable. Still, it's fun and it has potential to turn into a fun little horror themed arcade over time. But damn, they've GOT to drop the price first if they want to keep adding licensed games.

Honestly the game is great but I don’t think the value is necessarily there at a $25 price point, not including DLC characters. In my opinion, the game should’ve had Laurie Strode and Kelly Maxwell as unlockable characters when each arcade game is beat. Would’ve been an awesome reward for beating the game and these characters add a lot more replayability to the game without forcing players to spend another $10. When you compare this game to most other indie games, it feels like you’re receiving a rather small amount of content for the price of the base game. Most indie games have a stupid amount of content and replayability at a $20 or less price point, it’s kinda hard to justify the price point on this game. However, this game has AMAZING potential if the devs manage to secure more IPs to make levels on and decide to add more characters down the line. Every character and chapter they potentially add down the line will increase the replayability of the game exponentially as now you’ll have the incentive to replay these levels as all the characters to get the unique experience. I really hope we see more for this game in the future, a Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Friday the 13th chapter would go a long way for this game
