Guys and Ladies; I wanted to add explaining.. I collected data from that era's meta critic magazines, sites etc. Made Polls in retro social media groups. I didn't prepared list with my own decisions. So; I am agree with you about some games.. They need to be in list. 2nd subject is; Same dates, i was preparing for Sega, Ps1 and many other game lists like this. Final Fantasy (Mostly this one said by community) mistakenly mixed into pc list. Sorry about that but if there is video maker inside of you; days and days you are creating a database and construct video piece by piece. I couldn't see that, with tired eyes and focus.. Thats my fault. It needed to be in PS1 video. Apologize.

Games back then were somewhat more pure and with soul. All those GTAs and Far cries, CoDs and many other ruined the industry. You simply had to produce more with less and that stimulated creativity and imagination

@@keenmate9719 Aye, it kinda was better when game devlopers as well as players had to left things open for imagination, thus everybody could have his or her own imaginations about these games, a part of what made them so magical in my opinion. Nowadays it's often bland and shallow. Exceptions certainly exists, but they have become quite rare nowadays.

@lurkerrekrul2 жыл бұрын
@@user-jv1su4xp8q The original Silent Hill only ever came out for the original Playstation. It was later made available to run on the PSP (as many PS1 games were), the PS Vita and apparently the PS3. There WAS a package created by someone many years ago that claimed to be Silent Hill for Windows (or maybe DOS?), but what it actually was, was a copy of the PS1 game, pre-packaged with an emulator. I never tried it myself, but I recall hearing that it was rather finicky and wouldn't run on all systems. It still wasn't an actual computer release though.
@gex5819902 жыл бұрын
@@user-jv1su4xp8q Wrong, it NEVER ever was released for Pc. It's sequels were tho. The first one was only ever on PS1, it was emulated on other things but the only ever port of the game that exists is Ps1.
@gex5819902 жыл бұрын
@@lurkerrekrul Yeah I remember that, that's what people are thinking about. Someone just made a standalone version of epsxe with optimized settings for the game and iso already loaded and had it run as 1 compiled program via a custom front loader. That was spread all over the place. It actually ran really well but as soon as windows started updating it'd act up worse and worse and now it's unusable. But really if you just took the time in an emulator you would have gotten the same effect. Now tho the best route to go is duckstation, it's the only way to play the first game in my opinion anymore unless you play the original game on a top end Trinitron CRT

It was far from perfection but it was the first true attempt to center a machine learning model as main character in a videogame. Nowadays you can legally download a working demo and run it through qemu, if you're curious about it. Cheers.
