ye qissa hai 1959 ka jab Hindi cinema ke jane Mane film director Manmohan Desai ko ek film mili thi Chhaliya jiski main starcast me the actor Raj Kapoor aur nootan is movie ka Sangeet Diya tha kalyanji anandji ne gane likhe the qamar jalalabadi ne aur jis gane ki main baat kar raha hoon ise gaaya the singer Mukesh ne dam dam diga diga Mausam bhiga bhiga.. ye ek bada hit gana tha.. uske baad Manmohan Desai ne actor shammi kapoor ko lekar film banai badtameez aur Bluff master Jo ki hit rahin Mohammed Rafi ke gaaye gane bhi hit rahe.. phir Manmohan Desai ki Jodi bani Amitabh Bachchan ke sath.

ALL FIMS OF mmd are excellent in spite of loss and found formula he used in many. He was also very crazy of Rafi Sahab as told by Late Ameen Sayani Sahab in his Geetmala volume.

His films were entertainment in toto. I can still watch his amar , akbar aur Anthony all over again and enjoy it as I did decades ago!! His accidental death was unfortunate and it left yesteryear actress Nanda heart broken till her death.
