Renjun originally took up art as form of therapy to help with his anxiety and grew to love it. He has a very unique imagination and often draws fantastic creatures and landscapes that are not hard in reality. Actually the main reason he’s fluent in Korean is because his grandparents are Korean and he grew up speaking it (though with a regional accent and vocabulary which they often teased him about in the early days). It’s a running joke that Renjun is more Korean than the Korean members, he grew up watching Korean dramas and refers to them frequently and gets frustrated when the others don’t know what he’s talking about

The girl Jeno was co-hosting with is Yeeun, she's part of a group called CLC and is their main rapper, her and Jeno became friends due to being MCs together. The members like to tease Renjun so much, I think at this point they just want to see him get angry lol. Fun fact: Jisung and Chenle met in China during a program before entering SM and became friends even though they couldn't really talk because of the language barrier, but then they met again in SM and debuted together!. Also even though Mark is the oldest one everyone in the group agrees that he's just the cutest and you'll often see them doing things like cuddling him or pinching his cheeks

That’s right, Jaemin is also the lead rapper and center of the group. I’d love to add, that when guides says he’s full of love and a sweetheart. It’s truly true. He was casted while doing volunteer work and has continued even after debuting. He has a lot of care and love for the people around him. From his family, to his friends, to the fans and even to the people in need. He has a lot love, gratefulness and respect towards his mom as well(he always talks about her and her teachings) and talks about how her teachings shaped him as a person. And that’s probably why he said that he’s like his mom. My favorite teaching of his mom is “if you receive, you should know how to give.” Which speaks a lot about Jaemin as philanthropist as well. I just wanted to add all this, cause there’s no existing nct guide that delves into members properly. As someone I idolized, the part about Jaemin that i admire and respect the most is his character. That’s why i wanted to share this to you. He’s a beautiful person with an even more beautiful heart. Some additional facts about him tho: •he’s either 100% or 0% nothing in between. When he’s with dreamies sometimes he’s insane. The other times, he’s just really silent and aloof in the corner. •He’s an introvert. Like i said, sometimes you just see him quiet in the corner especially around members that aren’t the dreamies. He stated it’s because beinh around people sometimes tires him and he needs to recharge. He gets a ton of hate because of this, which is so dumb.

Mark is the leader, main rapper and main dancer Renjun is the main vocalist and lead dancer Jeno is the main rapper, lead dancer, visual and vocalist (he is also called Dream's captain since he was kind of a leader for a short time) Haechan is the main vocalist, lead dancer and sub rapper Jaemin is a lead rapper, lead dancer, visual and the center Chenle is the main vocalist aaannnddd Jisung is the main dancer, rapper and vocalist and maknae!!!😊

And yes, Chenle had a very successful career in China pre-debut. He has been performing and recording professionally since he was very young, he had a solo tour and everything. He’s the only Dreamie with professional singing training, he’s also the only one who has not auditioned but was asked to join directly based on his abilities. He trained only a few months (mostly to learn Korean) before debuting. Chenle and Jisung have a KZbin show together called ‘ChenJi’s This and That’, you should watch it to get a better idea of their relationship. And Jisung doesnt call Chenle ‘hyung’ as traditionally would be appropriate, they’re only three months apart so Jisung wanted a same-age friend and since Chenle is t Korean to start with, it didn’t really make a difference to him

Learning name pronunciations from people who don't know korean to someone who also doesnt know korean is always tricky. Here's my best at writing down the proper pronunciations in the english alphabet: Mark: literally just mark, but technically mah-keu is how koreans pronounce it Renjun: rawn-jween Jeno: jeh-noh Haechan: heh-chan Jaemin: jeh-meen Chenle: chawn-law Jisung: jee-sawng For future reference, when a name has "ae," many people mistake the sound for "ay" but it's a bit closer to "eh." Like for example, "Haechan," some people say "hay-chan" instead of "heh-chan"

NCT Dream is actually SM's second attempt at doing a graduation group concept. Super Junior originally debuted as Super Junior '05 with 12 members and was set to be a rotational graduating group, however once their fanbase started being locked in, there was immense pushback about the concept and in 2006 Kyuhyun was introduced as the 13th member and the concept was dropped. The idea for Dream was solid and made a lot of sense as a way to both promote younger members and help build a fanbase for new units down the road, but for whatever reason they just never introduced new members especially when we know tht Sungchan was a trainee for several years and was probably the only person who fit the age range to be added after Dream debuted. I do believe part of it was fear of pushback because Kyuhyun and Yeri both faced fairly large hate campaigns for their additions to their respective groups. Even Jungwoo received a massive backlash for his addition to 127. (Johnny and Doyoung had it much easier as both were part of SM Rookies with the NCT members and featured in NCT content before they were added to the unit.)

Trust me as someone 2 years younger than jisung, being a fan since their debut has been crazy, not only do I see how much they have grown, but I can also relize how much I've grown as well. I remember being so happy there was an idol that was so close to my age, and now idols younger than me are debuting its so crazy yet cool.

I feel like the guide doesn’t explain enough that Jaemin is literally (and voluntarily) the Mom of Dream. He cooks, cleans, knows how to do laundry and repair things - of course they have the dorm aunties who feed them and stuff but Jaemin is very capable with household chores. While he’s technically part of the maknae line, he’s one of the most dependable members - the others often joke how Jaemin is the mom while Jeno is the dad (due to their close friendship and tendency to do everything together). He’s an important person especially to Jisung, he’s the one Jisung will go to for help and advice. Jaemin is also at times excessively introverted despite appearances to contrary, but it’s beautiful how his members know and respect that when it happens

It can change the members with who fits the concept & songs. * 2 new members Shotaro & Sungchan were added on Nct 2020 so new sub unit are on the way.. Also Nct Hollywood is officially on the making through an audition program.. It's going to be an All American boy band. Note - As you know Both Mark & Haechan are in Nct 127 & Nct Dream. Mark is in SuperM as well with Taeyong , Ten & Lucas . ( superM is a powerful boy band from different SM group Shinee, Exo, Nct127, Dream & WayV)

I mean I get what SM had thought of with dream. NCT's concept is limitless, so sure at some point in the future there could be 40-50 members if they want. The whole idea was that all the newly debuted young members would first be in NCT Dream, like a stepping stone. The incoming new members would make up for the graduating members. So according to their age, the new members could comfortably perform concepts that are suitable with the age as well as get used to everything properly. That way when they turn 20 and graduate, they can move on to NCT U or any other new units in the future. It was pretty smart tbh. But the fans are attached with the 7dream lineup and were devastated with Mark leaving. And thinking about all the current dream members leaving the unit at some point and not performing together (all getting distributed into separate units) wasn't something anyone was looking forward to. So fans complains plus other factors made SM scrap the whole grad idea.

I've been an overall/all unit NCT fan since the beginning and even seeing the dreamies in Mickey Mouse Club or all of them in SM Rookies (miss you Hansol) and it's honestly quite strange seeing them all grow and develop so much when I'm the same age as Chenle!!!! Also, he did a show with Taemin in America called Why not the dancer and did a dance competition called Dance High. You should check out clips from both, but his performances in Dance High were amazing!!

SM used to do that thing back in Super Junior. they debuted in 2005 with 12 members and other people would join and some will leave. but they stopped doing that. and Super Junior had until 15 members. But now They have 9 active members. Super Junior is also a great group. Music, Dance and Vocals. Variety fun also.

NCT was not the first experimental graduating unit from SM Entertainment (Super Junior was supposed to have a graduation system too) and the music industry (theres the AKB franchise). It was actually kind of interesting at first but then people eventually will get fond of the members chemistry with each other that is why it won't work with NCT Dream. I think SM will make another graduating group (new or maybe new NCT Unit) because SM doesn't want to give up in these kind of experiment ....look at NCT's unlimited concept people weren't too keen at first but yeah.

if my facts are correct, and they might not be because I'm quite new to NCT as well, but Lucas was mentioned as the honorary member of Dream because he was technically young enough to join dream, being only slightly older than Mark and born in the same year. however, his physique and aura he presented SM didn't feel embodied the cute, fresh vibe they were going for for Dream, which is why he didn't debut with them, loves being with the maknae line, and wants to join Dream. don't quote me on that though, that's just based on my understanding through NCT content.

They were planning to steadily add more ppl but that didn’t work out for multiple reasons including the fact that SM kinda sucks with managing their trainees and because everyone was already attached to the current members an the group as 7. It was clear that SM just couldn’t have kept up with that concept anyways because they would never be able to debut trainees that fast and adding 4-5 new members every time someone turned 20 was bound to fail.

Yea Chen Le was indeed a child star! He went on various talent programs including china's got talent when he was like 9 yrs old. He sang with the vienna philharmonic orchestra and he even released his own songs and had his own solo concert, all before joining NCT at 15 yrs old! I'll tell you whats that, you either pronounce his name as 'jayyymin' or 'j min' their no in between lol. You dont have to do it exactly the same way koreans do, but just enhance the 'e' sound. Just Je-min. In korean theres a slight difference between 'Jae' and 'Je', e and ae are different vowels, but saying 'je-min' is more that fine

Everyone takes their own amount of time of learning Nct. It can be hard to learn all 23 members and all the groups in Nct. And so far he’s doing a great job. 😐

Could you do a subpar guide to wayv by softjun the same one who made the guides for the other sub units of nct it’s not that outdated since nothing much has happened from what I know so far

A lot has happened since softjun guide about Wayv came out though since that guide is 2 years old. Wayv has done and been through a lot since debut which is when that guide happened. You must not be up to date on Wayv
