Pledis announced this week that all thirteen members just renewed their contracts with them (one full year ahead of expiration). I think it speaks of their genuine bond as a group, because Pledis doesn't exactly have the best track record in terms of management (they dungeoned both of their successful girl groups without much of an explanation, and did some very questionable moves for their first boy group, Nu'est, that resulted in them flopping _hard_ after a promising debut ; Nu'est owe their late career resurrection to their own decision of participating in Produce 101). Seventeen are known since debut to be self-producing. Woozi their main songwriter, is the adorable shortie you kept noticing (I'm saying "shortie" _very_ affectionately, being one myself and Woozi being my bias). Their main choreographer is also a member of the group : Hoshi, the one the others throw into the sky in Left and Right and just keeps getting higher on his own. The fact that both of them really _know_ what their members are capable of, means that no member feels underutilized, despite the fact that there's so many of them.

This is amazing to see, specially because I've considered seventeen my family since 2015. And I totally understand your love for woozi, it was like that for me too, hes very connected, honest and extremelly talented. They have the title of 'Self-Produced Idols of Korea' because they have been in charge of the composition, writing and production of their songs since pre debut (2012). They also work on their choreographies and have actively participated in the artistic aspect and concepts of their comebacks/videos, as well as in their own official merchandise and making their own MV's. Member Woozi 1:59 (the cute/small guy) the Vocal Team Leader is the main composer/producer of 99% of their songs. Followed by members Vernon and S.Coups 4:17 11:15 24:19 30:34 (The guy with deep voice and black hair at the end of DWC, blue hair in L&R, the same guy in the car on H;R and the blonde/first rapper in RTL. You noticed him on every MV lol) S.Coups is the Leader of the group and leader of Hip Hop Unit. However, all the members have participated in the writing and composition of their songs over time. Member Hoshi, Leader of the performance team is the main choreographer (with dance team SAME and Performance team members Dino, The8 and Jun) they all work together to make their dance routines. The short guy you said you loved is Woozi (or Lee Jihoon). He’s SVT’s main composer and lyric writer, and he also arranges. He (along with pretty much every SVT member) has been heavily involved in the production of their own albums and choreographies since pre-debut, so that earned them the title “self-producing idols”, which was an outstanding trait that helped make them stand out every since they debuted in 2015. They were always responsible for their own success and improvement. Side note, woozi is so talented. In an interview the members were asked where their music inspiration comes from. Everyone looked to Woozi right away, but Seungkwan pointed out “Woozi doesn’t need inspiration. Ideas just come to him from the sky.” Hoshi added “I could take one week to come up with a particular idea but Woozi only takes 10 minutes. He’s really special.” Anyways thanks so much for your reaction, I look forward to you seeing their Japanese releases an their choreography videos, because they’re PHENOMENAL (ie. Love how you always notice our Leader S.Coups...he's the one you point out with the nice deep vocal looking around the tunnel, and also the one with blue hair in Left & Right, also the one on the car at the intro of Home Run..and lastly the blonde hair rapper in Ready to Love.... You liked Hoshi's vocal early in Don't Wanna Cry (performance leader and one of our main dancers, check out his mixtape Spider - _technically_ it's a mixtape, it's only one song but IT IS ART). The angelic vocals in RTL was The8 (also performance unit) who has multiple solo singles (Dreams Come True, Falling Down, Side by Side). Basically the dancers (and rappers) are great vocalists, and every last one of them is a fantastic dancer so dance practices are a MUST. Strong rec all of their Japanese tracks (Call Call Call, Fallin' Flower, 24H, Hitorijanai) bc they are amazing and bc they're all handled through a subsidiary of Pledis, not a Japanese company, so there's no issue with copyright strikes.

Omg...I really love your reaction! I would subscribe immediately. I am a Carat (Seventeen's fandom) and dudee...you are good!! You have recognized some members instantly even though they have different haircut and hair colours. Believe me, many cannot do it. The lil short guy is Woozi (korean name Lee Ji Hoon) and every Carat can have their own bias/biases in Seventeen, but every Carat adores Woozi. He is the main composer, producer of Seventeen's songs and leader of Vocal Team. My bias is Hoshi (he is Performance Team Leader and choreograher), but I absolutely love Woozi's vocal. And the guy who was in the car crash is S. Coups (korean name Choi Seung Cheol). He is Seventeen's leader and also leader of Hip Hop Team. These guys are seriously so talented and they are also ultimately crazy and funny. I will be waiting for more Seventeen reactions on your chanel.
