I know the feeling. Wanted a Suburban for several years and found a clean '04, Z71, 5.3 at 184K for 4K even. My mechanic knew it and checked it out for me. Pinhole in transfer case, pulled oil pan to replace oil pick up O-ring cause of lifter rattle, rear heater & A/C condenser, 2 tires, flush tranny, fix dash cluster, and more. 7G into it now and figuring motor needs rebuilding or replacing because lifters now rattle like crazy with great oil pressure showing. Very little rust being from lower Kansas and in Mich for 4 yrs. Stiil love it and prefer this over new one for 85+ K..

Nice i daily drive a 2002 suburban white Ls 2wd with 166,000 miles still drives in great condition I take care of it keeping it up to date on maintenance from Texas Ac and heater still works

My baby my poor Goldie she had an accident yesterday close to 300,000 miles motor still purred she could run with the best of them I had two men ask me how much I would let her go for I said she’s not for sale now I have no choice but to let her go to the scrap yard for parts motor still good she protected the family riding nothing happen to them thank god but I’m sad I literally couldn’t sleep just thinking how could this happen to her she didn’t deserve to go like this I miss you baby.😩😩😩

Have a 2002 z-71 burb 2005 Yukon denili 2-2004 Tahoe's and a 2002 Tahoe also 2000 z-71 Silverado will get rid of them easy to work on love my pigs
