Does anybody else feel as I do, that history runs in 100 year cycles, due to human nature and the mathmatical order of reality? The 1980's were the most recent peak highs of a given cycle, wherein all humans had the most inner power and inspiration, beauty and glory, honor and courage, and all other human virtues possible, and then things began to decline, which is why the 90s was still fantastic but took a dark turn with grunge music and dark humor taking the spotlight, and every decade since has become less hopeful and inspired, and more sardonic and careless. Nowadays the youth feels that caring is "lame" and "try hard" and "cringe". We're nearing the low point in the cycle now, in the 1920's & 30's & 40's we had the Great Depression and World Wars, and then we had the roaring 1950's, the revolutonary 1960's & 70's, and glorious music and movies of the 1980's and 90's. Thus it is that in the 2020's and 2030's we're again facing economic and spiritual depression and World Wars, but by 2080 we'll probably be soaring high again, with art and movies and human accomplishments once again rising to heights of glory and magnificence. Unfortunately I was too young in the 1980's and 90's to really appreciate or take advantage of our highs, and I'll be too old in the the 2080's and 90s (or more likely dead by then) to take advantage of it once again.

I been listening to music since i was a small kid, like a fanatic in the music store and at home. There have been many attemps to do covers of classic tracks, and very few does it as good as this one. This cover is an instant classic, Bryan Ferry would be proud! ;)
