Love the early 2000's graphic engine aesthetics of PS2 era reminds me of 'Fighting Force' :D I had some xp with Motion Capture (almost the face of Leon in new RE games :) and now more than ever appreciate the big technological leap of how seriously fluid and accurate movement animations and overall choreography has become in that generation, really set the industry standard for the years to come.

Dark Cloud 2 is amazing and severely underrated. It's such a fun RPG with world building mechanics, and you collect cards/spheres dropped by the enemies and transform into monsters!

Same goes for games like the bouncer, oni, Extermination, psi ops, mark of kri, and freedom fighters But if we talking about must haves on the cheap, gta vice city, midnight club 3 dub edition, black, fight night 2004, killzone, ratchet & clank, and Onimusha

I wish I could have been there and given a suggestion even though I probably wouldn't have been asked hahaha bought the best game of the Ratchet & Clank series that is actually on the PS2 is Ratchet & Clank Deadlock I think he cannot beat even some of the newer ones minus the new PS5 one which I haven't tried so I can't comment on that one
