In California so many houses/apartments come with carpeting in the bathrooms. When we bought, one condition we insisted on was putting down linoleum. Well it was the cheapest, thinnest laundry room lino ever, and began curling up at the edges before too long. I spent four months’ pay just tiling two bathroom floors.

When I was lucky enough to tour shady bars with my former band, driving a lot and sleeping in shaddier hotel rooms was almost like a dream come true.......and we barely made enough money to pay for our expenses lol...and now it's over, damn 30's......I hope I'll get a shot at doing it again...hopefully bigger, better, for a longer time, etc......but I'd take better venue with bigger audiences (Not that we never had a bunch of amazing ones)......although the few times we stumble upon something like "Pay an extra 20$ and get the suite", it was kind of awesome......Hell they had NHL Network, we watched the end of a late 80's Canadiens VS Nordiques Game lol.

After being utterly disappointed and disgusted with season one’s winner I stopped watching it!! 😡 I didn’t think the house was ugly at all. The carpets needed a good deep cleaning yes but the kitchen was beautiful with the parquet floors!! I liked the front of the house as it was. The bathroom did need to go!! The back porch area was nice the way it was. The winner should have been the Poseidon fish house!!

@@loveydub - it's not about "looks" it's about her health. Retta is a very attractive woman which is why I hope she can do better when it comes to her health. Black women have high rates of obesity which leads to cancer, heart disease and strokes to name a few. I wish Retta a long life to enjoy the career she worked so hard to achieve. Being obese threatens her longevity and is a disease that is 100% preventable and curable. BTW, I don't understand what Retta's appearance on Seth's show has to do with my comment on her weight? Plus, I never said Retta wasn't a "nice person."
