Been digging through a lot of Famitracker/VRC6 stuff lately, and I am wholly glad I stumbled onto you. Agreed with that other person, criminally under viewed/listened to. Some of the best stuff I've heard by far.

Oh man, I absolutely *love* those cadences where it goes from the root sus4 to the minor root, although there's so much suspension and build up towards the end that I felt almost disappointed the whole song didn't end on the major root instead 😩

PS: If you’ve seen mention floating around of a playlist called “The True Best Of FamiTracker”, it was created by me, and I’ve already added this epic oeuvre of yours to it! Great work!

Etalify, could please you do a VRC6 cover of Turbo Man from MM7 ? Your style of making famitracker tracks is very original. :)

I had an old school action-RPG type thing on my mind when I made this, something 'heroic' that might play near the start of the game!

Can I make a request for a song? I have a video game project that needs music and I don't know anything about using famitracker or making music at all. If not, could I use any of your existing songs? If not, could you direct me to any tutorials that could help me make music by myself? I've tried a few tutorials but they were hard to understand because I know nothing about music making. I would appreciate it greatly if you could reply to me ASAP. Thank you very much in advance (I'm basically just asking if you could give me a starting point of where to learn music from. It's 8-bit music just like the stuff u r making)
@Etalify6 жыл бұрын
You can use this if you want! Just remember to give credit and all that. Also, if you want to learn this yourself, start watching tutorials! From the basics of music theory and then some famitracker stuff. That's what I did.

@@Etalify Thank you very much. Should I just watch tutorials about famitracker or tutorials about music in general? Do you already have prior knowledge in music? EDIT: When the game is done, I will be sure to send you a copy. The game is a bank robbery platformer where you have to invade banks, shoot guards and cops and escape with your gold from the vault. Hopefully, it should be completed in 2 - 3 months. I came to your channel because I found your music to be very fitting for my game and it also sounded really nice. I don't know why anyone else knows about your great music. I hope things turn around soon :)
@Etalify6 жыл бұрын
@@raydin9485 No problem! I never studied music theory officially so to speak, I've just experimented my whole life, and I started pretty young. It's definitely a good idea to get accustomed to music theory before you start composing, makes the whole process a lot easier and faster.

Hey, do you do commission stuff? I have a trailer for a game I'm just editing right now and I'd rather have an exclusive track that I pay for than have one that can be used elsewhere. If there's a way you'd prefer to be contacted, please let me know.
