@@krisersn3092 Thanks for correcting but I think it happened because many country use currency symbol at the end and naturally they choose to do that. ex: I have done all math and physics work using Km/hr and now if someone ask me to calculate in miles/hr it becomes difficult to me to visualize the distance. When I was in USA, I used to keep my Google maps in Km/Hr because that became easier for me to calculate but over a period of year I learned how miles work because my car speedometer was in miles.

I never got good enough to exactly counter the spin, but I've found I can return just about anything by forcing enough of my own spin in an opposing direction. Works most of the time! Only issue with doing that is it puts you on the defensive for the next salvo.

super simple to receive it if there is only side spin, hit it towards the direction it curves. With backspin, chop it back by keeping the racket flat and with top spin angle the racket depending on the heaviness when hitting it back. The hard part is just reading the combinations of these spin and angling the bat accordingly within the limited time that is available..

I used to play a lot of table tennis at semi pro level when younger You will not return an undercut using topspin , you can only return it with a neutral response so that you don't try and counter the spin but merely return it with as little disruption to the momentum as possible Watch all the top players, they never try and gain advantage on the return serve, they wait until the ball is spinning in a close to neutral rotation and then they can make their counter move, either with spin or drive The undercut is considered the best serve because you get the most amount of spin which locks your opponent into a very limited response range of options, that is why you see all the professionals starting off with the undercut when serving. The undercut in term of percentage returns wins here too, most shots go into the net if you try and counter an undercut serve, where-as a topspin serve will send the ball higher which has a greater percentage of landing on the opposite side I used to try and smash an undercut serve with a counter topspin until a player much better than me explained to me that I will never win doing that, and that I needed to simply work on returning the serve rather than trying to counter it. Changed my game statistics for the better. Your play should be to win on percentages, not trying to win on every shot, especially when ranked against opponents of equal skill as it become a game of mistake forcing and arbitration

It took me quite a while to get used to people putting spin on the ball I played with all the Chinese people at my old job they were all great and as much as I tried to understand them I just had to figure out how to counter it myself I just started practicing how to put spin on it then I just started doing that on my returns it worked most of the time it one lady in particular must have been born with a paddle in her hand I never beat her even when she would play left handed....I've never lost outside of work they were just all incredible
