Achilles VS Phoenix is a classic matchup at this point! Beyblade Burst Cho-Z/Turbo is actually a lot of people's favourite season and we can't blame them for thinking so. Aiga was a brand new main character and the Phoenix/Phi antagonist matched well. We saw Achilles return multiple seasons in a row after Beyblade Burst Turbo, but we didn't get a Phoenix Bey until Beyblade Burst DB, and it wasn't used by Phi anymore. Phenomeno became the new user of Phoenix, but the shield ability was retained and upgraded! We didn't see an Achilles in DB, but BU brings back Achilles with so many new features. We can now make a modern Achilles VS Phoenix battle since BU is basically DB 2.0.

It'd be sick if we could see Aiga using Achilles again! No Achilles in Beyblade Burst DB was pretty sad, but good thing BU is basically a continuation of that epic system! Now we have a more modern version of the classic Achilles & Phoenix Beys that we all loved in Beyblade Burst Turbo. It'd be sick if we see further innovations for the shield and sword gimmicks!

This is a pretty good even matchup. Each of Achilles's forms have tricks to counter Phoenix, but it the latter can endure with its own easy-to-understand gimmicks. A real balanced matchup right there.

Beyblade Burst Cho-Z is one of the best seasons in my opinion!

Anime wise, the season was very mid. It was entertaining only towards the beginning and the end. All the episodes in the middle had no amazing story line and was skippable for the most part. But at least it's far better than Sparking and DB combined lol.

Burst Beyblades are generally plastic (except the disk which is always metal) with the exception of the Longinus lineup. Also, all season 3 (cho-z) beyblades had additional metal on their top layer too.
