Now we know for sure the Gateway will get banned, I am curious to know why do Konami don't put restrictions on any new support for any archtype that locks u from summoning monsters, except from that archtype!!??? isn't this better than having a damn URGENT Banlist every while cuz they released a card a couldn't control its craziness ?

I always wanted new, but good Six Samurai support. But always, my thought was “that if the support is too good, they will ban Gateway. And I don’t want them to do that. Or would they make weaker support, but keep Gateway.”

No way they ban Gateway. As long as other obscene meta decks are available, they have no reason to ban this over the billion of other strong first turn decks. This isn't gonna be Tier 0. Tier 1 at best.

Nah this is not 2010 anymore. Modern decks are more powerful and resilient. Ain't no way they ban gateway when deck like snake eyes exist. Deck doesn't even have 1 card combo smh.

I'd said it before and I'll say it again despite whoring them out in Duel Links for years and being a devout fan of the archetype: Six Samurai were a mistake. Six Samurai instigated a trend. You give Six Sams a inch, they'll take three miles at the least. The archetype never should have been made because it created the "slap deck onto the field as a Special Summon" theme. But is it fun? _HELL YES._ But is it BALANCED? _F*CK. NO._

Love the video, one deck suggestion though. If youre guna play a six sam deck that combos into saryuja, please take out any 1 card and put in amazoness archer. Instead of making big negate boards that die to dark ruler and droplet, just kill them that turn and ftk them. If you get to gateway and can make a shit ton of counters (or infinite with kizan summons) , archer can easily win the game before your opponent even gets a change to play a card.

In fact, i am more curious about the play when gateway is banished or failed to activate. Not saying that six sam is not strong, but this just always happens in real matches... Tbh, the buff is good, but not solving the most critial part of this deck, which is huge dependence on one card that is being limited 1😅

Every support testing i see tries to make insane combos and boards even if one handtrap completely ends your turn, we have an absurd synchro six that almost guarantee your combo will not be interrupted, why do people don't start by making this?

I think it's comical on how many counters have been waisted by putting the syncro monsters below the link monster. Could have had way more counters to use with gateway by keeping it free by only putting material in those 2 spots

The deck generates way more counters than it needs to to create literally any board. It literally doesn't matter whatsoever. I've played the tested the deck extensively myself and consistently on an end board with the 2 Shi Ens, Apollusa, Great Shogun Shien, I:P and Abyss Dweller i still have to end my turn with counters vulnerable to getting popped and wasted on Gateway and Shien's Dojo, because my both hand and field are full. And i took up Battle Shogun's zone with the Shi Ens early on in the combo
