Took 8 lessons from her dad Richard at Thacher School here in Ojai years ago. Sarah was in the arena a couple of times I remember. Still use his techniques to this day. At one time I was asked if I could ride like anyone in the western world who would it be? I said Richard Winters. I have now changed my mind, it's Sarah Dawson. Yes I want to ride like a girl. Because of Sarah's ride on Shiney Outlaw I now own his 9 month old buckskin son who I bred to my mare here in Ojai. The Winters and Dawsons are outstanding people and horsemen second to none. She has come so far since Thacher School and so humble. Very impressive.
