Cool scene, but I understand why it was deleted. They wanted to keep the green lightsaber a surprise (which it was, when Luke ignited it on Jabba's bark, for the first time). Btw, they changed the color to green so it would look better against a blue background (e.g. the sky).

Hey man! I cant seem to get any emails to register on original trilogy, but this is very impressive! I was wondering if you have done any other Return of the Jedi restorations? I'm in the process of making a fanedit and some of these deleted scenes just add a LOT. I'm particularly looking for this scene and the sandstorm scene.. Any chance I could obtain those? ❤

Any chance you have the biggs scenes from a New hope rendered into .m2ts files the same exact length as the Bonus disc blu-ray files? (00912.m2ts & 00913.m2ts) ? I've already made my own edit of the movies with the deleted scenes from the blu-ray put in, so It would be awesome to just replace those files and point my video editor to the new files instead of having to re-cut it.

The "Luuuukkee" part was cheesy but the idea of Vader trying to reach out to Luke is really good and should've been kept in.
