I think that Gehrig is in that upper echelon of players both on and off the field plus in the hobby. I wonder how many more RBIs and higher average he would have if sacrifice flies were an official stat back then. Being the first athlete on a Wheaties box is a big deal, thanks for that tidbit Darren!

Don’t forget he and Ruth are Eskimo Brothers when the Bambino was left alone with Lou’s wife on a boat during a barnstorming trip.

Darren, what a sweet pair of Gehrig cards that compliment each other very well, IMHO! 🤯🤯 I think Gehrig still gets over-shadowed by Ruth to some degree! Gehrig's baseball accomplishments are truly outrageous! Take care, my collecting brother! 😊👊

Whew! Getting down to the nitty gritty here. Class act and unbelievable talent. If I was casually asked who I thought the best ever was, I would likely immediately say Gehrig or Ted Williams. Beautiful cards as always, Darren!

Beautiful cards & love the choice for the 7th spot. My favorite baseball movie is Pride of the Yankees. A super stretch goal of mine for the national is a 34 Butterfinger. Awesome video as always, Darren. Have an fantastic weekend, my friend.
