During my child's ABRSM higher grades I (encouraged) the journey with Chick. The trio of Where have I.....tracks whilst I listen in awe on the baby grand, Parental bliss! Who needed drugs in the 70s when we had all that Jazz Fusion. Explosions in our heads, what more can be said

My high school years and the wonderful life I lived knowing this music and all of the musicians all comes right back once the needle was placed on the vinyl. Loving life. I am now a songwriter but still The Romantic Warrior.

this was my 1st RTF album, and I swear I'd listened to it a year before it dawned on me that there were no vocals!

IMHO, the best album of that particular foursome's line-up, and this piece is a good example of why. The song structure successfully captures such an impossibly wide range of emotions. And when you compare the range between songs, like that kick-ass Stanley Clarke tune that opens the album, 'Vulcan Worlds' with the delicate-haunting romantic 'Where Have I Known You Before' ... it's just hard to believe it's the same group.
