Well that was a most enjoyable film. Loved the back story, music and mixture of current and archive footage. Well done, we look forward to the next slice of your world 👍

Thank you, Ken. I'm so grateful for your encouragement. I've been struggling this evening, due to the usual low viewer numbers, but also an unusual lack of comments in the first few hours, which made me very despondent. But I value your good opinion, and it means the world to me that you're still watching. Thank you. 😘 x

Monkey Puzzle tree and a bemused Calico Cat, very nice. Botany Bay, nature is a fine artist. Does me a world of good to see these rambles.

Margate seems to be full of eccentric people and activities. People look like they have no worries in the world. I love how you combined new and old footage of Botany Bay. And the way you did it felt like tracing back old footsteps. Together with the music that scene felt especially powerful and nostalgic. Brilliantly done! Those seagulls were definitely conspiring against you! Bleak House didn't look too exciting from the outside, I have to agree with you. I'm so looking forward to the next episode!

Thank you so much, Jere. 🥰😘 That is exactly what I needed to hear. And you know the nightmare I went through trying to get it made, so phew! What a relief it turned out okay! Roll on ep.3! 😉😁😘x

The Margate Carnaval looks nice and colourful! The vintage clothing event looks nice too! The first house in Cliftonville looks nice, overlooking the park :). Haha for the sixth one being worse than you remembered. Wow that is a very narrow and scary road to the jetski centre. Yay for arriving safely! A seagull conspiracy 😂. Botany Bay looks beautiful! Nice that you include some summer footage. Broadstairs looks lovely! Wow, sounds like they have quite a few events there! Yes, Broadstairs looks very beautiful! That cinema does sound very weird, with the angled screen. I didn't know Bleak House was actually a real thing (I only know it as the book title, I haven't read it, don't even know what it's about). Yes, that makes sense! The weather looks very nice too. Yay for you visiting Bleak House. Wow those beach huts are very colourful, nice! Yes, the walk sounds nicer. Ooh next time looks interesting again as well! (not that I was expecting it not to haha).

Thank you Kit! I love the seaside, and especially all of the cute & quaint streets and shops! Thanks for including a literary connection. I love that! The only author's home I've actually visited is John Steinbeck's home up north in Salinas, California. I would go bonkers in the UK, since there are literary connections by the gazillion. Our local seaside is nice, but in California, it is almost always 'out with the old, in with the new'! There's seemingly little patience for preserving the past. I can't wait for your next video!💕😘
@kitsworld2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Barbara. 💕 I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I've spent some time in CA and loved it, but honestly I prefer old and quaint. Maine has a few places with a similar vibe to Broadstairs, I think...??? If you ever come to the UK, give me a shout. I could show you round, and you could be a guest star in one of my episodes. As you say, literary connections are everywhere here. I've been having a bad mental health day today, so thank you for popping up on my screen just when I needed it. You can't imagine how much I value people's comments on my videos, and you are one of the sweetest. Thank you. 😘 x

I love watching your videos and seeing places I'll probably never get the chance to visit. Also I love your cardi! Xx
@kitsworld2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Debbi. 😘 That cardi is the closest thing I have to a coat! After being housebound for so long, I'm hideously ill-equipped for suddenly being outdoors. (Hence sandals, also). But I'm glad you liked it I think it and the hat made me fit right in at Broadstairs. I looked like a salty sea dog. Ahoy, there, me hearties! ☠ 😉😘x

It was very relaxing to see you wander around Cliftonville and Broadstairs. My predictive texts knows those places better than I do 😁 I loved seeing the beachfronts, the sand and the sea. In my part of Lancashire I get my seaside fix from trips to Lytham St Anne's. There's a direct train from my home town. Keep up the good work Kit 😊

OMG! Thank you, John, so much! I was wondering if I had become a pariah since last week! Phew. I was very close to giving up just now. So grateful for your support and encouragement - in this case just in the nick of time. Really glad you like my films. Thank you for commenting. 😘x

@@kitsworld It would be sad if you gave up Kit; you have the talent and the skills. But it's dispiriting if you don't have the audience and you want to earn a few quid too.
@kitsworld2 жыл бұрын
@@EastLancashireJohn Oh, earning a few quid is not even on my mind right now. I just feel that I'm wasting my time and that not enough people like my content for the amount of time, effort, and money it costs to produce. Feeling very low right now. Mental health bad. But grateful for my one commenter this evening. Thank you. 😘x

Another lovely video Kit, well done... you really seem to be getting into the groove now.... i have never visited the places you are showing us, my more 'local' places would be Blackpool or North Wales.. my heart was in my mouth when you drove down that narrow steep road to get to the jet ski place... you are braver than me for sure! :-)

Thank you so much 💕 Yes, that slope was a bit hair-raising, more so because I was trying to film and drive at the same time! Lol. I can't wait for you to see episode 3. I somehow missed a couple videos 😳😳 catching up! Lovely video! I wish I had your editing skills!
@kitsworld2 жыл бұрын
Lol, no worries, Sandy. I've barely been keeping up with yours or anybody else's. Editing the way I do is extremely time consuming. Each episode takes a full week of 8-9 hour days to edit. Not the most efficient system for KZbin creation, but more creatively rewarding than when I was BookTubing. Thank you for sticking with me. 😘x

And..... i really want you to show us some of the places you park up in for the night when you are making these videos.... what are the main issues you find hard, is it where to get water or where to empty your toilet, or is it how hard it is to cook in your van, or indeed to get any sleep in your van... do you get cold at night? Oh i have so many questions! and all of these would make a super interesting video 🙂
@kitsworld2 жыл бұрын
Well, one or two of those get covered a bit at the beginning of episode 3, but for sure I can add more of that content in future videos. I think there is some of that in my earlier videos too, but I've tried to keep it spread out in case people found it boring. But I can add more detail in the future. Thank you for the feedback. 😍 😘x

@@kitsworld I can honestly say i have found nothing in any of your videos that i would call boring! Quite the opposite actually. :-)
@kitsworld2 жыл бұрын
@@twish1999 That's very kind. 😊 But as my Hubby would tell you, I am in constant fear of being boring. I stop talking mid sentence because I suddenly hear myself droning and babbling and the voices in my head tell me I'm being a bore. It's an issue. I'm working on it. Anyway, thank you. I'm glad I haven't put you in a coma yet. 😉😘x

It's not a car park at Botany Bay. It's supposed to be a turning circle. DFL's have decided it's a car park 🤦🏻♂️

Thank you for the correction. I apologise. I'm not a DFL, though. I lived in Thanet for 20 years before moving up north. 😊
