I don't know if you know this or not, Stephen, but Magma Blocks actually do something really cool if they're underwater, and they are one of many new additions to the Ocean. While Saddlequest is prerecorded, this is still good to keep in mind for the future.

And so the fellowship of the saddle split off into two groups, group Stephen went off into hell (aka Florida), whilst the other group stayed behind to guard the fort. Chaz found one saddle in a Fortress while the rest of the group were attacked by a Ghast.

After leaving the Nether (aka hell (aka Florida)) and reuniting with the Fellowship, Mal reveals her knowledge of a potential saddle location. And thus the Fellowship split again, with half going in search of saddles in the jungle and half guarding the fort at home. Haylie finds 2 saddles in a hidden chest, but by that time it is too late to run home. So Mal's group stays the night in the dungeon.

After reuniting the Fellowship yet again, they all come to the conclusion that their next best move is to head into the desert. With 4 saddles at home the time is now or never to try and score some more.

Here's a tip for anyone who's like Stephen and gets lost in caves: Always place your torches on the same side of the tunnel. That way to get out you just have to follow the torches on the opposite side.
