I have ridden it at the end of summer but being the English summer, it had rained all week. A bloke we were chatting to was saying that it gets very loose when bone dry. To be honest, it was riding pretty well on this day, despite it having rained a ridiculous amount that week. Just as well really as if the soil was clay based, it would be hell on earth 😃

Cheers Mark. I do quite enjoy the steep stuff, even though I do fall off a bit. For editing, I use iMovie. Not the best but it suits me and my 'minimum effects and minimum fancy stuff' style 😃

I can imagine it gets as loose as hell. I bet it's fantastic a day or so after rain in the Spring/Summer when the ground is tacky though...
