The most overwhelming thing as a returning player is the menu system. Everything changes but nothing is explained. I left and returned or tried to return multiple times in the past. The menu system before was not good, still kind of bad now but manageble to navigate compared to before. Not feeling as lost as back than with their menu system. The rest comes down to looking online to learn what missions to do or how to go about progressing to get the best characters and whay characters are best to progress without feeling like i wasted materials on lack luster characters. Maybe make a vid explaining the most important game modes and heros needed to complete said mode. Best character, what tier they should be, gear, support/lead system and game modes to do daily for best/quickest progression

The game does a horrible job at explaining anything to you. For three months, I played the Colossus stage wondering how on earth are you supposed to get his shards. I had to watch a tutorial on KZbin to find out, if you play manually, there is a small chance to get his fragment, when and if you get an assist character from the CPU. How on earth was I supposed to GUESS that? 💀. If it was ever explained in-game, it must've been a really fast pop-up sign, because I literally had no idea. THANKFULLY I didn't waste any important ascencion item on him. But I would have him at category two, had I known getting his bios was doable for free.

I agree with ur take on pvp, but i just wanna say that even if you dont have really good builds for pvp, it's still worth to run those game modes on auto, cuz even if u dont win, it costs nothing to play the game mode and u just get extra rewards.

agreed. I have a separate f2p account, I don't build pvp characters on it cause it's a pve focused account, but the small amount of crystals from timeline and the mementos from otherworld battle getting me t4 mats or ctp's is totally worth it.

Yeah. It's definitely worth it. Especially otherworld battle. Even if you don't win a single battle you'll get the tokens for a ctp eventually. PvP is the least fun part of this game. But sadly a good number of rewards are locked behind it.

And it's including AC. We don't need to win the AC, but as long we play (attack) 20-25 times, it would give us tokens that we can exchange into T3 and T4 mats plus a random box.

That Timeline Battle warning is extremely correct 😅😂 Im a returning player and i don't like pvp, but some stuff i haven't finished like Epic Quest/Heroic Quest for a T3/events/etc.. made me play them, obviously i didn't need to win but i want to So i cheese'd the fights HARD, starting from silver to gold i literally keep refreshing until i get that 1 dude who is beatable and just beat him up repeat. That was a mistake. Because now im on vibranium and every enemy has the same 5 characters on their rosters, and even worse is that now i am required to win in Timeline for some quests 😂😂 really f#cked myself over, a little bit discourage but im not giving up 💪💪

Those three for sure though noted Surfer is a costly one to level up. I don't have him there myself though I play with alternate characters. I guess depending on where they left I'd say Captain Marvel, Thanos and Hela leveled with their top uniforms at least. Add Scarlet Witch. Returning get Loki, Moon Knight, Spider-Gwen and Iron Man. Put Iron Man last because he's a tutorial character and guided which is as redundant as Thor being SHIELD Academy and Guided imo. These ones are mostly leveled up for you in other words. But easy focus characters. Miles I suppose if they don't have newest uni (Spider-Sense characters will be called on). Obviously Cap and Black Widow are dropped from the tutorial and Sharon drops from SHIELD. That's all a round amount add other chars that instantly drop from Epic and Legendary. Enough to earn wins anyways. Last I think get a Phoenix uniform or character for those that don't to overcome that Shadowland level.

agree on pvp stuff but everyone should do the 5 otherworld battle and save up the tokens from there, u can buy a ctp if u save up 40k thats worth it and u get the tokens even if u lose

Same as Timeline Battle. Just play it. Even if we always lose, in the end we will be included in the rank to get small amount of crystals. If we literally don't play TLB, we will be nullified into the rank surely getting 0 crystal.

Just returned after end game but having difficulty to gear up from level 20 to 25 for any charecter. Because there is always shortage for t3 metrials even i clear 5 wb legend everyday. ((Plus this game doesn't have enough bio for level up 60 to 70. 70 to 80 out of imagination for now. Not everyone have whole day to collect bio..)) Which ruining my interest in game so planing to shut down again.

You can get bios through story mode and support shop

I don't think we really need effort to get Bios. My main resources is Shadowland (you can auto-progress it), ABN (yes you can get Bios from normal AB everyday), and if you bought deluxe pack then that's surely another way to collect Bios. The rest is mainly from check-in and generic events like energy bonus mission, Hero Pursuit etc.

I assuming the reason you're feeling shortage of T3 mats because you have plan to build too much T3s in every month (maybe for Story mode? Idk). Sure you need to expand the roster and you want some goal to keep your interest to play the game, but like Alex said many times, MFF is not about sprint, it's about marathon. Lucky enough in latest updates we don't get T3s as much as past years, because the dev is focusing on releasing more T4s.

Focus on characters with the capability to go beyond t3 Level 70 characters tend to struggle but as soon as you get 71/72 it will be easy Also focus your material on Chosen characters, back when i started i used mx gold in every direction and thats why i never properly progressed I can give you 15 characters you should focus on if you want to

Definitely build Wolverine up... X of Death Uni for PvP. Deadpool and Wolverine uni is good for PvP as well but makes him viable asf for PvE

You're on the right track, try not to spread yourself to building too many characters at once, stick to what you're working on, ignore all the fresh hot new updates, and in a month or two you'll have those characters maxed out.

If you're aiming for all the Archive Event Tokens each year. Taking 15 days off is a sure-fire way to guarantee you don't get them since Events only last 2 weeks.

Swrs PvP is very annoying😭😭😹😹 I was actually doing well in PvP making me feel like a god till I successfully got to defeat world boss knull. Then boom, I just don’t know how but the game seems to think I have a t4 character in my rooster and ever since I defeated knull I always get my ass clapped in PvP😭😭😭 Now I have to grind to t4 my characters to compete in PvP Got Hulk, Spidey and Thor(rage) at lvl 80 tier 3 and Sentry at lvl 70 tier 3

Bro there are no returning players... I was always more of a MCOC player while my brother was a MFF player (he spent approximately 500 bucks in MFF). He introduced me to MFF, I introduced him to MCOC. Next thing you know, we both dropped MFF and stayed loyal MCOC and we have no regrets ! The game has never been better !

Just returned to mcoc. They have it right. Characters like Doom(popular and powerful) are actually meta. Didn't realise when i stopped, i was so close to getting a 6 star. A week in, i have 7 of them, including doom.
