Man, this game is everything a guy could ask for. Guns, zombies, and motorcycles. Don't forget the down to earth, believable, and loveable cast of characters. Loved how grounded the game felt.

They even captured accurate female nature. When Deacon finally finds Sarah serving in the Deschutes County Militia. The first thing the bitch did was giving him attitude while treating him like a subordinate. Ungrateful and misguided, even in a Zombie Apocalypse. I screamed at my monitor, "Do you know what this Man went through to find you?! " LMAO 😑

What about saving your girl, and your best mate and then going back to your shack and seeing them very happy and sharing the love on your own deck and having a group of killers that only did it to survive the rest of their lives enjoying everything humanity can not take away from them. I literally just started playing this last week. What a superb game! The characters are believable. The gunplay is awesome. And it has motorbikes and zombie hordes...I can't grasp why some people hate this game at all?

I never hated this game but my first experience on the PS4 was rough mostly due to framerate and the lack of some quality of life improvements that were eventually updated into the game later. The game shined for me after I gave it another chance, especially on PS5 and PC

Nah, the hate was justified. When the game first came out, it was a buggy and performance mess on console, thus the low reviews and low sales. When it finally came to PC, a long time later, it was well polished and PC gamers realized how good the game was since they never experienced the broken version of the game.

The game is not perfect . The part that bothers me the most is the audio . Dialogues overlapped , audio not contextualized ( often the main character screams when he is hiding from zombies ) . But on the level of fighting between humans and zombies is too much fun , running away from hundreds of zombies , while your bike without gasoline by inertia reaches a gas station , where you barely manage to make just enough gasoline to escape from zombies .

Fools. How could they decline a part 2 ? This game deserves all it's praise. A sequel would be a lock to get a big return if they retained exactly what makes Days Gone so fun and unique. Caught me off guard how well everything was put together. Gameplay, visuals, story, NPC's, etc. It's all there in this game. Sleeper hit for me and now I want to replay it every other year or so. Replays are a short list for me. RDR2, Metro, Stalker caliber games. Great edit btw. U captured the essence and gave it justice.
