You can build up in this game by CB, but it also based on the tactics (possesion game,quick counter...) you use and the type of the CB. You can learn how to use the sprint button, it will help you improve your game.

pro tip : press the square button when defending, it's literally really effective at gaining back possesion during defending. The square button is used for body charge during defending, the way i used it is everytime the opponent got the ball and there's my player marking right behind them, press square to body charge, you'll literally won the ball like 70-80% of the time and the other times it could be a foul, just don't do the body charge inside the box cus most of the time it will results in penalty.

If you play the game more you spend those GP blue points to add skills you really want by adding them to useless players then using legacy transfers and also to extend contracts when they run out which costs either 200k+ for legacy transfers and 200k+ for extending contracts when you run out of 10 day extensions. Great to see you play this, I play this a lot more than FIFA. Just find it more fun!

Watching the attacking AI in a game that is worth a fraction of EAFC and it looks so much better... Also while you say eFootball is pay to win, you should also acknowledge that Konami DOES NOT manipulate pack odds like EA. If you see a TOTW with Messi in it, you are equally as likely to pack Messi as you are anyone else in the TOTW. And the gambles that GUARANTEE you a special player are only $1 a pop. Not to endorse microtransactions, but when you call it pay to win, it is chalk and cheese compared to the disgusting greed of EA.
