I just want to congratulate EastEnders full team actors to for thinking outside the box with regards to filming other soaps that have carried on but only 2 people in set at anytime seem to not have that spark anymore. This is why EastEnders is so good and the only soap i watch. Well done to all.

I don't watch EastEnders anymore as I lost interest in the show a long time ago. But this video was in my recommended and have to admit, am quite impressed how they're handling safety measures during COVID-19 by making it look like 2 cast members are kissing from certain camera angles while they're actually standing 2 metres apart. And sticking a screen between actors for some scenes.

you'll be disappointed. it's gone WAY downhill in the past 7-10 years. i only continue watching cuz it's a habit. it's like i've invested so many years into it that it's hard to quit now. if you left when they began hiring less skilled actors (toxic barbies!) then brace yourself. it's not *just* the acting that is crap now... after this covid break, i no longer feel that itch to watch it. watching this video & seeing how absurdly inefficient they've made things, i can tell you that i don't think i'll even bother tuning it. rather than taking the time to take stock in how the show has gone downhill & how to improve & regain its audience, it's like they're doing their best to finally lose the rest of the audience. looks like they've invested lots of money in paying non-actors, non-writers to try to carry the show forward a bit longer. meh. i'm done.
