I don't have nostalgia for anything quiet as much as fortnite. Looking back now (end of 2022, c4 s1), I haven't had nearly as much fun playing fortnite as I did in chapter 1 and 2 as I have in chapter 3 and 4. Fortnite has aged so poorly because they don't keep the things we love. They don't listen to their community anymore. Maybe it's just me as I grow up, and it has been 5 years since I started playing, but I am sad fortnite doesn't feel as fun as it used to.

One of my first drops was there. Tons of people landed there. I didn't get a gun. I remember hiding while hearing players run around getting blasted by this guy with a shot gun. You'd hear multiple foot steps. Then a couple shotgun blast. Then just one set of footsteps. This would repeat multiple times. I managed to survive. It was so scary. An aspect of the game that is totally lost for me now

I love how people used to use buildings correctly, by making forts with them. The main reason they were added was to build up forts and defend, yet people just ramp and wall. Proof? They have made tons of items to take over high ground and try to make buildings obsolete. I miss when I would make forts with launchpads and attack.
