especially the raids. I haven't personally done one but watched lots of streams and the like of them. Very mechanical. Too many mmo's are like 'dodge this, stand here, DONT STAND HERE' but wildstar really mixes it up.

Great video. This game is an absolute joy to play from the amazing visuals to the completely 100% fair cash shop and beyond. There is hours upon hours of playtime for absolutely 0 cost. The classes are varied and interesting and minus a few classes are completely unique. Bring some friends and have a blast with this game, there's plenty to enjoy here.

I had never been a gamer or played any MMO's before, Wildstar was my first and hooked me with that awesome trailer (3 exiles walk into a bar...) Reminded me of Serenity/Firefly mixed with Titan AE. I freaking love this game, so addictive. I recently picked up an Oculus and an Oculus touch, and while playing in VR is great fun, I have kept coming back to Wildstar. I've got a Spellslinger up to level 50 that's my main character, but I recently went back and started over with an Engineer building it up, learning more lore and playing different parts of the world I missed the first time. And both are Exile, so at some point in the near future I"m going to have to go back and play a Dominion too, don't want to miss out on that half of the game. I do wish the game were VR-friendly though, it's a strikingly beautiful world, would be cool to be able to experience it in VR. I don't have the deep background to compare to a lot of other MMO's, but IMO Wildstar is just too much fun.

Wildstar is an awesome game! I played it since beta, took a break after all my guild left the game, but am coming back. This game is worth at least playing to 20-30 level before deciding it is not for you. It has such a great and unique style, great music and graphics and the whole path system keeps you busy when ever you feel that there is nothing to do. Please, everyone... try this game!

Of all the MMOS in the world right now, From WOW and all mmos in between, ive played them all-. and Wildstar is the only mmo that got me playing longer than one month, I LOVE IT. I manage to do some raiding in this game before i quit it, and it was the best motherfucking experience ive ever had in MMO. SO fucking rewarding when you kill the boss, such fucking awesome raid fights with sick mechanics and teamwork needed- even the fucking dungeons is rewarding as fuck cuz its so damn hard ( fuck sorry for excessive swearing but i dont know any other way to emphasize how much i love this game,fuck) Im currently installing the game again because i WANT it to be good- and i hope its better today than before. I havnt given up on this game but there really arent alot of people playing it.. (heres an example: im a HEALER , and i had to spend over 30 minutes in dungeon queue to get a group. AS A HEALER!!!) please play this game, give it a shot. its amazing!

I think no cash shop is as good as GW2's. You can just trade your gold into gems and vice versa. You can use those gems to buy whatever there is in the shop, or even to switch servers (even NA to EU etc.). The cash shop in Wildstar does look kinda nice though.

GW2 is p2win tho... you can buy pure gold and with that buy the best gear from auction house. Maybe u cant buy acended gear but that is only like 5% inc dmg or something so whatever.

Styx Zero That's not pay to win. You even said it yourself, the best gear you can buy is exotic whereas there's ascended which is better, even though it's 5%, and not to mention that you have to have ascended equipment to do high lvl fractals. Even if you go ahead and buy a legendary weapon it's not making you stronger than others, just means you have a shiny skin and you can change stats... But not OP. Pay to win means that you have a significant advantage over other players by paying with real money, which is not something that can happen in GW2.

I just found Wildstar last night and I was super impressed. Bad thing is I played for a couple hours and the servers went down for maintenance. :( But the little I played I really liked. It's like an old school MMO feel, but in a more action style like GW2 or Black Desert, with the campy writing of Borderlands. And once I found out there's a stealth tank class I was hooked (I was a hardcore Shadow tank in SWtOR).

I'm relatively new to MMO's and for the past year I've been on and off playing Warmane WOW(wotlk). Wildstar has really caught my eye. I would be playing other MMO's already but sadly my laptop is now 7 years old and I have no cash! This game right here is my incentive to get a new PC. No other game has caught my eye as much as this has, I just hope that by the time I manage to get a new £500 custom built PC (thinking of going with the g4560 & 1050 ti combo) the game doesn't completely die out.

We just started playing this game after getting bored with GW2 and needing a break (after getting bored of WoW and needing a break). So far, Wildstar is great - beautiful graphics, the humor is a nice change, and it's fun to play both solo and duo. Much better than I expected from F2P.

Love this vid mate! Just one friendly tip from one creator to the other, lower your game sound, it is suuuper loud :D You can record 2 different sound lines and lower it to perfect amount after recording which is what I usually do. But again, don't want to bash on your vid, just a suggestion for you :)

Its a fun game and worth it. Best FTP shop, (not pay to win, not pay to particpate, pay for convenience and vanity). Best housing, best dungeons, best raids. It is not dying. I have played since beta non stop, there is a strong community, Good solo play, group play and raid play. It is a great time to get in game, community will bring you up to speed.

wildstar comes out with real content only about once a year. BUT wildstar always comes out with cash shop content. if you're into that kind of content instead of real content this game is for you

They need to make new content to entice players but don't have the money so they have to make cash shop content to earn money but then they use their time making cash shop content instead of playable content. Wow. Played the game at launch for over a year and they redid the tutorial 2 times, this is like...a 3rd time they redid the tutorial? Man they spend so much time redoing the first few levels. It was the slowdown of the end game stuff that made me wary of spending more money on the game. Hope 3rd time's the charm and their 3rd revamp of the tutorial stuff draws in more players. I agree though, it's a great game and everyone should try it out!

Did they ever fix any of the technical issues the game had, as well as the performance issues with most computer rigs, even the better ones, like constant stuttering and frame drops? It was one of the reasons I stopped playing even though it was free-to-play. And from what I gathered from some other people a lot of those problems exist since the game launched, so if it's true, it's real deal breaker for me. I can stand the long grind and challenging boss battles and other such "difficulties" the game throws at me, but not when the game runs like that.

coming from someone who got server first GA and mostly through datascape before my guild died and quit, F2P killed it really hard unfortunately. content became extremely casualized despite the game being sold on the premise of "hardcore" for a year before release. raid bosses nerfed to the point where mechanics could just be ignored for the most parts. coming back and leveling an esper to raid again was really sad, almost zero bars to keep fresh 50s out of raids. pulling DPS on raid bosses as a slightly geared 50 that's nearly double what used to be fully-raid-geared top DPS. raid bosses melting and phase changing in seconds with zero need to really know mechanics anymore (i had certainly forgotten them). that said, it's a beautiful game that can be enjoyable just to level a character in for fun. it's free afterall. easily the most fun lvl 1 -to- raiding the first raid experience i've ever had in the large handfull of MMOs i've ever played. exile half of the game did PACING perfectly. there is a story-driven sense of urgency that will kinda handhold you through to level 15-20 and keep you interested. i can't really say personally that i think anything was wrong enough for it to die so fast, i know WoW: WLOD release instantly meant 2/3 less people playing and my guild dying. really a shame.

About 2 months ago, I came back to this game to play Exiles. I made it to the 30s. I've come to find that the game is quite populated. I found a leveling guild, buuuuut honestly, I dunno. I got bored in the 30s because I wanted to play vanilla/wrath WoW on free servers. Though, I confess, wildstar is a better game in many regards, I was having some weird as heck rendering issue. My game would completely lock up in some instances and without warning. I could not figure out what setting it was that was practically crashing my game... But, I'd come back to this game if I could find a guild where more than 10% of its members log on to voice chat and actually care to know each other.

It is a well made game. I have over 180 people in my guild. I don't know how "Dead" this is, we raid, run dungeons (unlike WOW dungeons are actually meaningful) I see people LFG in chat all the time. It has attunements, Character AMP mapping and Talent builds. The raiding is top notch, strategically driven.

honestly the game is amazing. i love it too bits, i love the art style, i like the cheesy comic shit going on, and most important, at least in pve, its FAIR! unlike all tab target ones, like wow or whatever. and the fact that they made it so clear yet so intricate mechanics wise, my god. for once i dont need 1000 addons to know whats happening, bcuz the game SHOWS me. its like having a game that has a better version of DMB in wow but makes it sweet and challenging cuz everything is crisp clear layed out in front, and its up to you to deal with it.

I like this game but sadly the biggest thing against it is that there's just not enough people playing it. Don't get me wrong the game is not dead but kind of the big thing for an MMO is to play with a lot of other people and if you actually try to do a lot of the group content you will learn very quickly that's a difficult task as it's just hard to get groups.

I didn't play this game much, although I am considering jumping back into it, but from what I did play and from what I've heard from others who have played it, the story isn't emphasized all that much in the game, and when you have RPG as half of your genre (MMORPG) you definitely need a big emphasis on story and involving each and every player in that story. Again, maybe I'm totally 100% wrong, maybe they do a great job with story, but just what I've heard is that they don't emphasize story enough.

If you love Dungeons and Raids, it's great. If you like huge worlds with tons of cool stuff to explore which is worthwhile, eh. Not the best game on the market. Would recommend ESO or GW2 for that cause of scaling.

This game is one of the most underrated MMOs out there. FFXIV barely has more content with far more resources and that is P2P. The cash shop just sells cosmetic and convenience services in Wildstar. The classes are actually balanced in raids MUCH better than Legion. There is no "lul ele shaman" or "lul pyradaz" in Wildstar, it's about how good you are as a player.

i remember being in highschool and finding out about wildstar back when people were hyped for this game. it was the first mmo that truly caught my eye. it's classes were cool, it's other game mecahnics were cool, the fact it was a mix of ratchet and starwars was cool. i preordered this shit back when it was pay to play.... problem being my dumbass knew jackshit about pc gaming and had a toaster. so i never played this game in it's prime... i'm coming back to it now after all this time. since i can actually play it now.and im really sad to see what was once the hyped up newcomer be basically forgotten by the masses. i guess it might've just been the dreaded "WoW killer" hype everyone had. even though at this point that's a very futile mindset. since only disinterest in WoW could kill it. not a version of wow that's more scifi like. plus ESO was also coming out too. though i have no idea how well that game did on launch sooo that might just be me speculating. though i *do* remember there being flack for glitches and performance i think. yeah i think that was also it.

I been playing this game since beta until June last year. I followed the developement 2 years before it even launched. I pre ordered the collector's edition, love the spaceship house from pre order, I was a fanboy. I've done 2 of the 3 raids in the game so many times and didn't do the 3rd because of lack of groups. I was against all other MMOs except wow. I recently started playing elder scrolls online last month and I can say it's far more fun, immersive and has better writing than wildstar. elder scrolls online is coming out with an expansion this summer. I so wanted wildstar to succeed but it's not making a comeback ever. elder scrolls online is better anyways. I wish I played elder scrolls at launch instead of wildstar, I chose wrong.

The reason this game didn't get the players it should is due to the computer requirements. WoW is still able to run on older computers, when Wildstar came out you basically needed a new computer to play it. Other than that it was fun to play, but the low population made it feel like a single-player game.

This was such a great game. Unfortunately, the population is very unhealthy and I personally quit because I didn't see anything going for the game in the next two years. I see a lot of casual players I've met quit after hitting lvl 20 or so because the 2 hour queues for anything outside of questing. Wildstar needs to appeal to casuals if it wants to live and grow. At the same time, they have to put out game-changing content, not just one new raid and some costumes. I feel like all the hardcore players have either left at this point, or accepted fate and are having fun while it lasts. Wildstar had great potential. I will miss playing it.

I loved the game, I played a Healer as always and the game was great until I entered the first Dungeon. I ran out of resources so quickly and people were taking so much damage. I continued thinking it was just due to being low level but I never found any relief in the next couple of dungeons either and I ran OOM constantly. So I finally gave up.

I played this game along time. The class descriptions you gave are a little misleading. Maybe you are not as experienced but every class has a dps spec and a healing OR tanking spec. None of which are off tanks or off healers, none of which are ever intentionally weaker in their jobs because of their class. Example: Medic dps was top for a long time.

The only thing that upsets me is the lack of respect for the southern hemisphere, Asian, Australian and New Zealand gamers always get ignored when mmo's come out and it takes too long for servers to appear down here and it sucks since there is such a large player base for these games that I don't want to say gets neglected, but it is never a priority to get us a server just one of my opinions on why mmo's don't get played enough.

My only complaint about Wildstar is the races being faction-locked. I love the Mordesh and the.. Auri? The lil fluffy people, they're both awesome, but I think the Exiles are beyond dull and honestly just annoying, it makes it hard to even play because I hate all the NPCs, while I love the Dominion NPC's. If I could play a dominion Mordesh that would be incredibly awesome.

I Loved the Game for about a week at launch and then became extremely bored with the questing system. World Of Warcraft is just easier to get back into after a break and i know it very well. Not a lot of room for any other MMO's

A poor launch and bad marketing took a huge toll on this game. It has only got better since launch. Carbine advertised too much of the cartoony space western aspects of the game but there is sooo much more. The story is deep and sinister. The omnicore instances and Elden story is amazing. I've raided in other MMOs since vanilla wow and wildstar's raids are among my favorites of all time had so much fun in Datascape it's definitely a classic and very original. Because the game is so good and the player base is so small those who have stayed have created a very friendly community (extremely friendly compared to other toxic gaming communities) willing to help new players! The only bad thing about the game now is the slow primal matrix grind if you are new or returning. But honestly even with the slow matrix grind there is so much content for new and returning players to enjoy. If you like games you will almost certainly love wildstar. 😊
