Finally someone with logic. 35,000+ Palestinians have died in the war and Ki doesn't do anything. But for death of Ukrainians they host an event. If so, then they should do the same for the poor Palestinians. Note that if you look through history, Israel took the lands from the Palestinians unjustly and have been attacking the poor and innocent Palestinian civilians, killing innocent men, women and children for more than 75 years and nobody talks about it. Where is the justice and humanity that people talk about?

It would be a violation of federal law to not disclose it were we paid to do that, with fines of up to $50,000. Those who are paid are upfront about it, but those are mainstream content creators and streamers like Tectone. The rest of us who have been in the game for a long time are not paid to promote the game and if any part was sponsored with in-game items, we would be legally required to disclose it.

@ferric I would say that if you really wanna talk about all these issues wouldnt it be better to rather have a full on podcast style then have game play as I think it would be better as it focusses more on the topics discussed then the game you are playing

I could but that’s something that takes a lot of time and effort. I can put in the effort, but I simply do not have the time to do a podcast style like that, and the entire reason I am getting back into Wiz is BECAUSE the only way I can start something like that and bring more people in is if I do it through wiz to start.

Man this whole situation is just sad I'm not talking about the Israel vs Palestine situation. I think most will agree that neither side is innocent and the conflict is inhumane. What I'm talking about is how you're handling your position and goals during this whole conversation. I am absolutely on board with someone trying to stand up for what they believe in. However I haven't heard you talking about what you would do to help Palestine. You want to push KI to do it for you because you want to absolve yourself of accountability. YOU can donate to your preferred charity yourself, YOU have a big enough audience to do so. If you have enough influence and cooperation in a community to make demands of a company then you have enough influence and cooperation to fulfill those demands yourself. Taking away all of your videos and now withholding desired content from your audience doesn't make you look like a social justice worker. It makes you look like you're throwing a temper tantrum until you get your way. And just as a side note. I absolutely want what's best for the Palestinians. War is ugly and horrible, and I agree that the innocent children of the conflict should be helped in any way possible.

The reason I haven’t said what I will do myself is because I am already doing those things myself personally. (Donating money to charity, literally a third of my expendable income goes toward it, going to every protest, documenting these things to, one day, write papers and create documentaries and get things published). Actually those last few things I HAVE mentioned that I am doing or will be doing those. It seems what you want from me is for me to raise money through my KZbin channel, which is definitely something I plan to do. You could say it’s throwing a “temper tantrum” but J have zero regrets because I accomplished my goals with taking down my videos which was immediately Atmoplex, Reddit, and even another content creator started talking about it. The other goal with it was to remove myself from the community (again something I explicitly mentioned) to focus on collecting my thoughts and finding the right way to go about it. But yes, I do plan on doing charity content, it’s just that is something where anyone who is trying to be responsible would do their proper research to find a good charity to donate toward and have a system in place to do that as effectively as possible. As I’ve mentioned in the past, I work 60 hours a week minimum, not including commuting time or lunch break unpaid time. I also have a family (a wife, both of my parents, my two younger brothers, a sister, and a brother in law). I also have a community (Young Muslims) that I am apart of. As I mentioned in this video: I also participate in other activities as well (Martial arts, weight training, cross country, swimming, firearms). In between all of that, I also need time to sleep and collect my thoughts, and unfortunately there are only 24 hours in a day. Edit: Just read your comment about me “absolving myself of accountability.” How exactly am I doing that? I don’t do things for aesthetics, hence why I don’t outwardly say what things I am doing to support the Palestinian (and my overall humanitarian) cause. Pretty misinformed opinion if you ask me, unless you mean something that I have not addressed in this paragraph. Let me ask you this: who would make for a more effective charity: a lone content creator who has never held a charity who has 22,000 followers, or a company with a VERY LARGE playerbase in comparison to my follow count who has actually run or pointed toward many charities in the past? Depending on your answer, it should be clearer as to why I am doing things in the order I am doing them in.

First, when I said you're absolving yourself of accountability. I meant more towards the concept of you sending mixed signals. You send a rather clear image on your Twitter and videos about your opinions, however you don't tell us about the actions. I understand that this isn't a black and white situation but it's difficult to call out for change from your community implying that you would like to rally your community together, but then at the same time you only let that community see through a window of what you're actually doing. If you are making credible actions towards supporting something. Then publicizing your personal actions towards it doesn't make it for aesthetics. If anything it actually proves you as a more credible resource to believe. Not informing people of your actions until it's time to try and shut down a shitter on the Internet. Comes off more as conniving than methodical to me. That's not to say you don't have a right to privacy. You absolutely do. And I'm not surprised by or criticizing the validity of what you have done. You've proven yourself to be a hard working person. But that leads into point 2. It's just a consequence of you taking down all your videos, not publicizing yourself through positive devices, and instead focusing on criticizing those who disagree with you. That some of us have no clue what to think about it all. You send out a video talking about how you disagree with KI right now. Great! We are all on the same page. I saw your recent streams where you were playing counter strike. And there was some natural turbulence between you and your chat (which is to be expected since you don't have an established community is cs) but then we see this video come out of the sky giving us the idea that you're coming back to wiz for ? Some reason. I know you've mentioned before that people do ask you all the time "when are you coming back to wiz" but if you really had a problem with the company and wanted to boycott it, then you would just ignore those comments. What I'm trying to get around to is the idea that, we don't know anything unless you explicitly tell us. And when we aren't explicitly told what your thoughts mean for us as a community. It becomes really hard to not come up with false storylines or put words in your mouth.

@@Neokradd so I could make an entire video explaining my thought process, but I’ll just address two main things here: Firstly, the reason I engage with people on Twitter is not to “shut down some shitter on the internet,” rather it is the only platform which I have access to at work where I am able to engage with opinions from the other with such freedom and convenience. This video is not made BECAUSE people were asking when I came back to wiz, it was made because (and again there are reasons I can’t make everything completely public) I determined that my message was not getting through to people. Me bringing up those comments was just to address the elephant in the room, it was not my motivation for deciding to return. I quit for an entire year for different reasons in the past, and no amount of people asking me to come back convinced me to come back then, so why would it now? As someone who has made Wiz content for a number of years, I realize the reality which is that people will watch wiz content regardless of your opinions on world issues as long as it’s good. The game has a very active playerbase and it would be more effective for me to be able to get my message across to more people. As for why I stopped wiz content for awhile, I already explained my reason above and I got the results I was hoping for with that.

Tbh I don't know why you decided to quit, it was the worst way to go about it. You would have been better off maintaining your content and community and spreading the message in a digestable way without the whole twitter rebrand and cancel antics. And now you're just looking like a clown by changing your mind because playing the game as a youtuber is still supporting KI a ton, arguably way more so than the average player does by just renewing a membership. Your approach just pushed more people away from the cause because 99.9% of your audience simply wasn't aware of or interested in global politics. You gave them exposure but more important than exposure is the opinion formed and mindset adopted by the receiver. You've pushed a lot of them away with this approach and made them think you're losing your mind

We could debate whether or not I took the best approach, but from my point of view, everything has been going as I expected it to go and I am making my decisions based on results. As far as your concern over people leaving me because they see me as “losing my mind,” I have the analytics on how many people left and it is of no concern because many will return. Wiz viewers want wiz content, it’s just on me to figure out how to adapt my content in a way where I am not supporting KI financially. Playing the game as a KZbinr without paying them directly while being very against KI does not support the company if I dont encourage my viewers to pay for anything. The game modes I would be playing would be the ones my viewers play as well for the most part and they would be game modes that don’t require you to continue paying KI. I don’t care about the aesthetics, I am not doing this for aesthetics. If I cared about aesthetics, I would not have quit the game for an entire year only to come back because I wanted to once again engage with the community.

Something I brought up when I started the Ice walkthrough was that I am very open to discussing each and every single issue anyone wants to bring up at some point during my live streams. I never ended up getting to the point in the walkthrough where the questing become so monotonous that I can just jump in a call with anyone while questing to discuss things live because of everything I did. Whenever I come up with a new series where I can have a similar type of casual play-through, I’ll work towards that again, where I can bring anyone from chat into call to discuss anything.
