I got my dreads back in January, & just got them maintained for the first time 2 weeks ago (I was slacking on maintenance lol). Man it hurted but also felt so relieving getting maintenance done. My curl pattern is between 3a 3b you think I could do retwists on my already matured dreadlocks? I've had mine for almost two years I was doing interlock but I've been free forming them with separation for almost a year now. My last maintenance was like last December and I've been thinking about trying twist with gel to keep it clean looking every once in awhile. I prefer to have low maintenance but I do like doing styles every now and then

Once your locs get a lil longer could you think about doing a Two Strand Twist for your Locs bc I personally like the look a lot and I also have hair texture like yours and been thinking abt getting locs, so doing so will really encourage me.

You don't twist or retwist freeform dreadlocks. Freeform Dreadlocks are dreadlocks growing freely without manipulating them to look a certain way
