How come when I twist my dreads they don’t stay twisted all the way down to the scalp like yours? Any advice?

The hair probably isn’t all the way dry

@@TheGroomingArtist I usually twist them while theyre still dry and use a crochet hook. Maybe I need to use more gel. Do you have any videos that show ur process more closely?
