As a senior in high school, this song, and really the whole anime, hits hard. I had a teacher that was a lot like koro sensei. She was passionate about every student, took time to help them, and genuinely cared for us-her class. She left after I moved up two grades (we still kept in touch a lot even when I wasn’t in her class, and were even good friends). Koro senseis death gutted me, mainly because I saw so much of my teacher in him, and watching him die was like watching my teacher leave all over again. I can’t imagine how it’ll be when I graduate in half a year. This anime will always have a special place in my heart. It’s even piqued my interest in becoming a teacher because of what both my teacher and koro sensei has done to change and help so many students lives.

It's very common for kids to grow up and become what they admired. Like a kid who was saved by a doctor and grew up wanting to become one. For those of you who are depressed of koro sensei's death and the end of AC: The director plans to do another season on 2023 where each student will have their own cameo and backstory including their future children and grand children. This will have 2 new openings and another "Koro-sensei" that will not destroy earth but will erase all memories of person in the world including class 3-E so idk what date or month it will release but i only know it will be in 2023 plus the new "Koro-sensei" name is "Kioku"

I've loved this song since the first time I've heard it but it wasn't until last year during my move into a new town, a couple of months later after i graduated from highschool, that I broke down crying while listening to this. I mean Ive always known what the song was about but this was the moment I realized that the life, the way ive always known it, was actually over. I was moving far away from my hometown, away from my school and from the friends I made there. But now, it hasnt even been a whole year yet but graduation feels so far away. I know for sure that my life has changed for the better in many ways but sometimes I can't help but look back to these school days. I sang this song with my buddies to my classmates when we graduated High school, obviously they didn't know this was an anime song but they loved it and we shared a very nice moment having our last goodbye because many of us are going to take very different paths. I was always super lonely in high school people would try and talk to me but I would always just brush them off and continue to blame everyone else for my sadness if I had only taken some steps to be more social I probably could have had fun anyway this song made me see that some how 😅

Dude, listen. I just finished my last exam at my 1 year plc course college before I go into a main one. I’m walking out of the door. I’m standing outside the building right now while I’m typing. I took the longest time so I didn’t even get to see any of my classmates off, wasn’t real pals with most of them, but was with some. And for them, they were something I didn’t even feel I had in my last year of high. People I actually got along with, that I could say were my friends for more than just knowing them a while and liking their company, they were in the course outta being into the same stuff as me for once. Now I probably won’t see most of them ever again. And definitely so for the first girl who I thought might be more than a phasing crush, I really did feel something for (not super upset about that particularly, just knowing her made my year, and it was my choice to do nothing, I don’t really want a relationship, but it’s still bittersweet). I’ve listened to the OG version of this song more times than I can count, didn’t look for the english cover outta fear it wouldn’t live up to the meaning of the lyrics in the original, but finally decided to do it at last before I left. … it even hit on the ‘cramming through those lessons though I never wanted to’, there were things I didn’t like for sure, but I can’t think of them now. It’s way too hard to make me cry, it took the ending of the show to do that. But… this really did make my heart shake. This was the first year that finally felt different, I liked it. I don’t get how I can feel as regretful I didn’t enjoy it more while it was happening after 1 year of this as I did after 6 years of high… and maybe I don’t really, but like it says, still these feelings overflow. I can’t believe that’s it. I knew I’d listen to this on the way out, but I guess I thought it’d be more cheerfully, I’d at least be with my friends on the way out, but I didn’t know how the exams would work exactly, so… it’s alright tbh, I can chat on the group discord or something, but it’s still unfortunate. I just….. I’m glad they finally got me into anime, or else I wouldn’t have even watched this show back in December… I understand the feeling now. I know my grades have gone well, so I guess I just graduated now. I’ll see what the next place is like, but for now… I’ll let myself be emotional, I will miss this place. Time to go I guess. Thank god for this show, and this song man. 👍 if you’re going through this too now.
