Louis Armstrong is looking down from Heaven beaming with a huge smile of pride and joy of this reinvention of his original song. And if he were alive today and seated at the Grammys while Reuben And The Dark were singing and playing his song on stage, Louis would also be overwhelmed with tears of joy and gratitude that his beautiful song " What a Wonderful World " is still being loved, is still being sung, and is still being played many decades later throughout time. RIP Louis. And to Rueben And The Dark, you've done this song a most beautiful justice. This is amazingly beautiful and will never be forgotten!

I think of my past and the world no matter how bad or good a day is its still a miracle your here and I just switch from a negative and positive mindset. Wanting something more and then realizing I have all I could ever want, I just have to work for it. I think about the worst parts of my life until I hear at the end "and I think to myself oh what a wonderful world" and then I can't just help but smile.

Ever since my first hearing of this song, the youth of my early childhood floods back into my mind. All my time spent then was so pure and innocent, but as the years passed my perception of the world has gotten deeper. Life is certainly not as carefree as it used to be, howevet this song reminds me to look outiside of my pain and hardships, and to realize that not all hope is lost. To the person that reads this, may this song inspire you to look deep within yourself, to realize that you are living in a world that still has beauty and love, as hard as it may seem to think or difficult as it may be to believe. No matter how difficult life may be, just like the world around you, there will always be beauty and love inside of yourself too, especially inside those special people to you who can see your beauty and light too.
