When I was a I’d I remember that we had a couple of house dogs (mutts) who liked to chew on the Christmas tree. Mom hit on the idea of taken laundry soap powder , mix just enough water with it to make a paste. She then coated the branches of the Christmas tree with the soap paste, giving the tree the effect of being covered in snow. The look of shock on the first dog that tried to chew on it was priceless. I’ll never forget it. Both the dogs tried it once and only once. Problem solved..

Oh yes- " the old Wee Tree EBD plot". My bullies never snacked on the 🌲 but the "wee tree plot" is REAL. they even worked in tandem- one watched while the other took a wee 🤪. Maple leaves were our struggle. They loved to eat them to the point they would fight over the leaves. Oh bulldogs are a unique lot. I love them beyond words.

@Sandra Pass... I AGREE. He took the "terrible news" like a trooper but you could tell he was NAWWWWT HAPPPEH!! His breath actually got heavy and when asked for his opinion later in the video he CLEARLY shook his head "NO!" But like I said...took it like a trooper. However I'm also betting chewing a natural tree branch of some sort (ask their vet) would be healthier. Maybe hang boughs of pine for the scent and larger (green?) chew sticks???
