Poor sweet little Buttercup. I found this to be easier: I bought baby wipes, and squirted the ear cleaning solution on the middle of a wipe. Wrapped it around my pinkie and used my pinkie like a Q-tip to wipe around his ear. You don't in too far, but enough to get the grunge. Once every 3 days is enough, and you can do it every day. They LOVE this. the gunk is itchy, and this gets the itch out. You will be impressed with how well this tactic cleans his ears, no more infections, and he will LOVE having you clean his ears.

Bulldogs have what are called "rose" ears, which are more open than a lot of dogs and need cleaning. Like Roo, my bully hates ear cleaning and loves butt cleaning. She loves ear rubbing but not cleaning. The Roo burrito to clean him was pretty hilarious.
