I’ve noticed an important detail in the rainy week that should affects gameplay, and everyone seems to have failed to realised. Everyone in the school is wearing raincoat and rain boots outdoors during the rainy week. Rain boots are made of rubber, which is an electric insulating material, so no one can be electrocuted when stepping an electrified water puddle outdoors, according to this scenario. The first proposed elimination method (electrocution) wouldn’t work at the first place.

@@gamer47e17 There's a really small chance of it happening, rain boot rubber is an insulator of electricity. It's also really thin rubber so there's less chances of electrocution, yes, but it will not protect you from electric shock. Basic research studies prove this.

In case anyone is interested, I found this online: “...every insulator has an associated breakdown voltage at which it fails and arcs through or over. ... Rubber gloves would have a breakdown limited by the rubber dielectric and the thickness. It would not be unreasonable for run of the mill rubber gloves of thin latex to break down at a few hundred volts, and thick latex gloves to break down at a few thousand volts.” It is worth noting that a car battery is only 12.6 volts, while a lighting strike is about 300 million volts. So the car battery idea probably wouldn’t work, but if you could somehow get the lightning to strike the rival, then that could work. Personally I thought it would be good to just have the water puddles leak over to her, then the metal canopy frame would probably catch/“attract” a lightning strike on its own

Sorry buddy but it's never going to happen. Too many factors to implement into the game, example what if you committed murder outside and the rainwater washed All the blood away or perhaps created a bigger red puddle. A feature like that would be overpowered and would just make washing blood stains so easy that it would be cheating. Then YanDev, would say "this created so many new bugs" So I don't think rainy week will ever become a thing

It would be interesting if Ryoba was able to summon a lightning with a metal item or something like that. Or if there would be a day when there isn't only rain but also thunderstorm. And if the player asks Maria to meet them in certain time (for example 4:30 pm) in a certain place where the lighting is going to hit, Maria will be actually struck by a lightning. But she won't go there if she knows that there's going to be a lightning, so the player will have to steal her friend's notes so she doesn't know.

Yeah, I did want to make it so weather changes everyday or rather depending on the time of day, so like maybe the morning would be light rain and after school could be heavy rain and a thunderstorm so the player would have to perform this elimination at a specific time, but in the end, I didn't know how much I liked that idea since it's kind of a chance thing (Although, maybe Ryoba has access to the weather report before school starts so she can know ahead of time which days will have thunderstorms and which will not). And, yes, I also did want to give her an actual lightning strike elimination, but I went with the idea Dev proposed just to make it a little more canon.

I know you probably wont see this idea, and someone may have already made a concept like this, but what if there was a way to murder your rival in front of someone but make it look like self-defense? My idea came from how the teacher assumes the student who reported a body or something would claim they were just making a prank if you cleaned everything up before the teacher got there. I know it might sound a little hard but what if you kept creating scenarios where your rival was the only one who saw you commit murder, but you cleaned up every thing each time before the teacher came, which would not only lower your rival's reputation, but it will make the other students think of her as crazy, and the teachers will eventually stop believing her if she reports something to them. If this is kept up your rival will go insane and will try to attack you, in this moment you can kill her with the weapon she's trying to kill you with but everyone who sees will believe that you were defending yourself. Idk kinda sounds a little dumb now that I think about it.

I'd really like to see how the students would react to the player running back and forth while still wearing a raincoat on. Let's say for example a member of the Martial Arts Club sees Ryoba running somewhere inside the school with a raincoat on, they wouldn't think much of it at first since it's raining heavily during this week, if they see Ryoba running around a 2nd time again they might think it's strange at first but, depending on the student, they might think Ryoba forgot to bring something with her. If this student sees the player still inside the campus running somewhere they might start getting suspicious because why would someone be running inside the school with their raincoat if they're not even going outside? I'm not really sure if Ryoba canonically has a good memory or whatnot but the student won't conclude to Ryoba being forgetful if the player continues to run around in school, with a raincoat on, for more than 5 times. With my last statement, I think it'd be fair if the player received a reputation penalty of -5 reputation points, and the longer the player does this the more reputation points they'll lose. It's just an idea though, this concept was great!

he already thought of this idea years ago. This mechanic was scrapped because it will take longer then a rival to implement in the game. The new voice acting, how blood will get wiped off in the rain, how the students will get wet, how ryoba will get wet if she's not wearing a rain coat, all the students patterns will be changed, new animation and more. It is very hard and time consuming, too many bugs will happen so he scraped this idea.

Another elimination method could be breaking rival neck and stage it to look like an accident . The ability to breaking rival neck can be unlock by upgrading the physical education stat . After the rival is dead, put her outside to look like accident, but require big enough puddle to look convincing Thanks for reading

The way of murdering Inoue has certain errors The boots won't kill her when she steps on the puddle and you put the car battery. If you can steal other people's raincoats, then you can steal hers, and she will use an umbrella if she wants to go out (but that will make the other ones use an umbrella if they don't have their raincoats, you must befriend them and make then go away so you can commit the crime.) After they're gone, you can make the puddle and use the car battery to kill her, and that's it. Idk maybe it could work

Personally, I would rather like to see an actual thunder shocking her. The way to electrocute her is so unsatisfying and a little too similar to rival 6th. Also, I wish to know what her befriend dialogue is like. You know, when you do the task of destroying the pictures. Maybe the reason why she went there in the first place is because she wanted to study the weather near the asylum, but got caught.

I would make it so that 1 day of the week was a thunderstorm and that you have to somehow make her get struck by lightning so you would need to spy on her at lunchtime to learn how lightning rods are made (cause she likes weather so she must know how lightning rods work) and you learn how to craft one then you need to find copper somewhere like maybe a copper statue from the headmaster’s office and you go to the workshop and shape it into a rod and attach it to her umbrella and she will get struck and die

I like the idea to electrocution with leaks and water puddles. I came up with an item like car battery but i thought having a car battery at a school was unrealistic. so , maybe instead of car battery what if there was a hair dryer? us and npc's shower in the game so why not dry our hair? it would be in changing rooms(idk whats it called) after showering you need to dry your hair or others will get suspected. and there would be 2 options for showering one for full body second for not washing your hair. if you noticed when you kill someone with a sharp small weapon your hair will be covered in blood so not washing your hair wouldn't be cleaned of blood. It would be a great way to humiliating with time. Think like this: you sabotage a hair dryer, then wet your rival after they shower they normally use the hair dryer but if you sabotage it they cant use it. there is 2 versions, they put a hair towel over their head or just dry it with towel, or they go outh with wet hair. when other students lowering our reputation when our hair is wet, it would lower rivals reputation too. theres exeptions of course. if you are or your rival in sports club or swimming suit, then it would be normal. about electroucuting. like sabotaged power strip it could be pluged under water fountains or thrown in a water puddle.also you should be able to throw a hair dryer in a pool (if you already can im sorry Im not able to check) when thrown it woukld electrocate every one in the pool. it would be great way to eliminate sports club in genocide or rivals in sports club. also students with short hair will not be suspected of wet hair. What do you think? (Im very sorry for my poor english and typos)

I think an additional effect that could be added that 1. If Ryoba gets soaked, aside from changing clothes, there should be another way to remove the effect (idk some kind of drying system?) so that you don't have to always go all the way to the locker room and change, just to probably get noticed by more people on the way. 2. If Ryoba returns home after school, maybe there could be this penalty thing where she has to stay home due to catching a cold from the rain yesterday. Attending all school days is crucial if you're aiming for S+ rank, right?
