The subtlety of the notes ringing like bells makes this truly amazing! I couldn't see a brand on the piano, but the tones he achieved were beautiful. 11/10 player. 11/10 piano. I think I just witnessed Ling-Ling. ;)

This is the Percy Granger arrangement for solo piano of this piece. He also has a solo arrangement of excerpts from the Grieg Concerto first movement. I just last night here on KZbin heard the Martin Jones version of the Granger- Tschaikovsky first movement

I absolutely loved it! ❤️ I also love your guts in changing a few parts by adding a rubato here and there even though I thought it was a bit much at sometimes. Overall a really great performance: you won a fan in me! Keep it up 👍

Why not to film and post this (great enough) performance, instead of a separately filmed and edited video? Impression of playing drowned out by a sense of deception
@reuelofficial4 жыл бұрын
It's totally possible to do both. I have live performances filmed and that is great. And then in this room we could only film and synch. And if you want to perform it live and film you would need mics recording the live performance etc. Most pianists and musicians online however are synching their pro video productions unless it looks and sounds obviously live :)

So much rubato it is hardly recognizable. A bit odd would record this on this piano with the lid closed. What is this piano anyway? A digital? Would love to hear you play pianissimo and with finesse rather than near constant fortissimo and bombast.

This video is irritating.. I think you should try to respect the composer, and classical music in general, more. Very out of the given thing and of what classical music is.
@owendavidmalicsi59004 жыл бұрын
What's wrong with this performance?
@reuelofficial4 жыл бұрын
Haha Nikos, you do realize this is a perfect performance of a very famous and well respected solo piano arrangement by Percy Grainger (look him up on Google if you don't know him) and this is the ONLY official solo compilation of themes of this famous Concerto. Don't show ignorance please since Percy Grainger most definitely respected Tchaikovsky with this arrangement.
@reuelofficial4 жыл бұрын
This is classical music, remember its a fairly wide term to throw around ;) don't be limited in your thoughts on this, this arrangement is "Classical" in almost every way.
