Omg I cried when I saw what they were doing to the baby chimps and I cried some more when I saw the reunion. I lost it when I seen them tied down holding each other’s hands. Poor babies. No animal nor human should be treated that way. They were trying to stay strong with each other. She’s so amazing to dedicate her life to helping animals get out of these torture environments and help them succeed. I’m so thankful she did that because it taught them not all humans are evil. She’s living a special kind of life. My heart goes out to her and all the animals in captivity being tested and tortured.

That was an emotional rollercoaster. It’s a wonder those chimps could ever trust a human again after the heartless treatment they had been subjected to. The part of this video that really burns into my memory is when these poor chimps were held in restraints in bath tub like containers. Then one of them reached across to seek or give comfort by holding hands with the one next to it. That broke my heart. It’s a lesson to be learnt from creatures we consider inferior to ourselves. They can still trust and love a species who restrained and repeatedly gave them only pain and fear. God bless this lady for liberating them.

I dont write many YT comments but i had to say i agree with everything you said. Im a 33 yo man and i started crying at the sight of those helpless little guys holding hands to comfort each other. How any person with a soul can harm them and do God knows whatever sick shit they were doing after seeing that shows the true despicable character of human beings. It's heartwarming to see that Doll & Swing didn't retain those 6 years of captivity & trauma and were able to move past it due to the loving care of Linda. It was all because of her loving nurturing that the chimps were able to adapt to a new life in the sanctuary. And Linda was able to see the fruit of all her hard work when she went back to visit the chimps and received such a loving welcome!

If we introduced critical thinking and subcategories of philosophy into schooling, like epistemology and logic, we'd have less people believing irrationally. Irrational beliefs lead to irrational actions and irrational actions are the root cause of the majority of humanities problems. Humans are the problem species out of all the animals, but we can change this, if we get rid of childish and outdated ideals like religion. I can't stop crying watching this, they are so selfless, they forgot all the horrible things other people did to them just because of one person who showed them kindness. Similar to how lab grown, plant based meat is proposed as alternative to animal slaughter. Experimenting alternative methods is the key to avoid such inhumane activities. If consciousness exist between animals none would volunteer for lab studies.

I've only been close to dogs and birds including Canadian geese for yrs. They love, understand volumes and volumes they forgive and they never forget. They appreciate being loved and trust deeply. If only I were as good as a human as a noble animal is good. Of all the blessings in life loving them and being taught by them and having the honor of their devoted friendship is the greatest blessing of all. They have been my heaven on earth.
