As someone in the dog "industry " I can assure you thata not how it is. I've heard you use the term mini pinscher before. Min pins did not come about from Doberman pinscher. They're actually a totally separate breed that's not related. When line breeding. A line breeding should be crossed out at the 4th generation to prevent health issues. It has nothing to do with size. Size is what can be created with target breeding. Many many litters later. Thus the latest fads are born
