Rev Dr Brown...why do people have to o by so many titles. Seems so prideful and superficial.

I understand how it can be off putting to some. But, it is important to some people to know that the preacher is qualified, even more so if the preacher is a woman. Not to mention, there’s a lot of work behind those titles so they carry with them a certain amount of affirmation of the calling.

Why is it prideful if the person went to school,completed the studies and earned the title?
