He explicitly stated DO NOT QUIT YOUT JOB! it's a state of mind that he is referring to. Wealthy people train their children from a young age to own things not to aspire working for someone else.

I was already called by God and in ministry working 16 hours days over the years it really I was still preaching, singing ect... but my prayer life was not the same, I was too tired to take care of my family, I was irritated and angry.. God gave me the ok to quit my job I was looked at crazy because at that time that was the main income. My husband was the Minister of Music at church and all bills were due. God told me that when its all over I will have a great testimony! I let go and let God

M-M-M! Right on time! I don't care what negative things people are saying about this man. All i know is the Holy Spirit led me here shortly after my prayer went up. Rev. JHB allowed God to use his vessel and be a blessing unto others like myself, I pray that God blesses him and continues to sanctify him for His kingdom. Thank You Jesus.

Thank You Pastor Bryant this confirmed what revealed to me in prayer. This word years ago birthed a song God gave my husband to write. I quit both of jobs before I even heard this message. "We sing the song Lord I'm available to you or quote the Lord is the Head of my life but not so. I repented and told the Lord I was sorry for not completly trusting in him. " The Lord says after that"You have not been available for the assignments I had for you" I praise God for you Pastor! I do recieve

My God that was one of the best messages I have ever heard! And despite whether people want to receive it or not, it is Biblical. The Bible says your GIFT is as a precious stone and is what makes you prosperous. It also says your GIFT is what makes room for you and brings you before great men. Your GIFT, not a J.O.B=Just Over Broke!

I stopped accepting anything from the government and within a month I lost my section 8 home, my childrens was sent away to live with my mother and I was living out of my car, seedy hotels and shelters for the next three years and a half. I continued to listen to these prominent pastors, and when I started to get back on my feet. They came with a new message that " Christians don't need to go to college" and that " God did not call the Christians to make a living for themselves". Thats coveting

When I was new to Christ, I heard a message by two very prominent pastors that Christians should not be accepting welfare, foodstamps, section 8 or any assistant from the government. Christians should only receive their help from God. I was a young single mother of two boys at the time, with no job skills, and was on every government assistant I could get my hands on I needed help and was not ashamed to ask for it. I didn't know how to do anything. After hearing this message

A wonderfully, powerful message that resonated with my spirit. Almost two years ago, Yah (God), placed in my spirit to leave my job, which I consequentially did. I didn't know anything, except to follow His leading. He let me know, that He would provide, and that a job wasn't my destiny. I have been amazed at what He has done in my life, and this is only the beginning Thank you for this message which confirmed that I am on the right track. Annette

What a beautiful testimony! I was so glad to read it and see the evidence of GOD at work in our lives. I came here today because I don't have a job and I don't want one anymore. I want to work from home and teach others how to do the same. I may need money now, but I won't give up on the dream and vision GOD has placed in my heart for my business and non-profit. Keeping the faith and I thank GOD for the sign of your testimony! :)

Another thing, though we are all accountable for our own actions, and in many cases the saints are owed apologies by the leaders and *open repentance when they fall away, and THE LORD will determine the sentence, yet we have to learn how to forgive people when or if they haven't even *openly asked to be forgiven, because unforgiveness no matter the pain involved or breach it still holds the unforgiver in chains. Rebuking is Bible, but so is forgiveness, yet so is repentance and reconciliation.

Sometimes certain words are not for everybody to receive. And after all of the stuff I have seen in the scriptures and life I am at the point now, where I know GOD is still THE ALMIGHTY GOD regardless of if a man or woman of GOD falls away from the standard of perfection (Mt.5:48) in Christ. David was a prophet (Acts 2:30) the Psalms are full of so many Messianic prophecies that came to pass and I don't know at which point it was that he had Uriah killed, but he still loved YHWH, and YHWH him.

This is a progressive word message. It is an anointed for the new covenant believer. Heb. 8:1-13 (8,9,10-13). It is a word to deliver your mindset out of Egypt, and place you in the mindset of being above and not beneath, a head and not a tail, a lender and not a borrower. You were called to be a person of Love, peace ,and eternal hope. Regardless of who preach it, God has a seal on his word, stamped with his promise. Rev. 3:21, Heb. 6:4-5. (Lk 4:18 I hope this helps to clear up the questions.

How did you know if that was will of God for your life? I'm at that place now. I am grateful to have a job, but I feel I could be doing more with skills that I have. Sometimes I feel like quitting my job and stepping on faith but, I am afraid. For some reasons only certain people get promoted. There is a job as a program manager overseeing the upgrading of 50,000 computers to Windows 7. I don't meet the education requirements but I have several years of computer technical experience.

John 9:1-4 is about the Power of Jesus Christ & how HIS WORKS were made manifest in the young man who was blind, which is why Christ allowed him to be blind so that the power of Jesus could be known. It has NOTHING to do with a job, car, prosperity, shifting the atmosphere, restlessness at a place of work, etc. This man is blasphemous & His fall will be great. Seek ye the Kingdom of God & All will be added unto you. Wake up you ppl that are sleep.

Wow, some people on here are just foolish. A pastor is nobody but a sinner like the rest of us who God and only God has appointed to lead the flock. We as the body of Christ need to stop placing pastors on peddle stools. They battle the same things we battle just at a great weight since they are the leader of the church. Last time I checked nobody but Pastor Bryant, his ex-wife and God know what truly happen. Let the truth come out about how you really are behind clothes doors......

I was more mature in Christ by then and decided that their message did not line up with the Word of God, so I changed churches. Little Children please be careful how you hear. There are preachers who never experienced true poverty. The shame, ridicule, embarassment, and depression. Please search the scriptures for yourself. Don't let anyone turn you into a slave. You can be an employee on a job, college student, business owner, or have a career and still serve Jesus Christ with all your might.

Scripture says that a pastor MUST be blameless...and a man who cant keep his pants up is not a man of GOD...He brags..he manipulates people into giving money to TBN...and He is more concerned with dressing than living right...GOD is closer to the broken and contrite..HE resists the proud..IF a man falls ...HE should be broken before GOD..not puffed talking bout "Im the man"...you think he has fallen once and gotten up?,,,you`re DECEIVED....we ARE to judge those who claim to be christians!
@fothgt11 жыл бұрын
But you must remember ministers use the Word metaphorically to impact their respective contemporary audience. Think about it, you said the man was MADE blind so that the Lord could demonstrate His power. What about blacks in America? Slavery, racism, discrimination (not ordained by God), but God manifested Himself and many have experienced His salvation by and through Christ despite the legacy of racism. In other words, God's works have been made manifest. Can we have some money with that!?
