I would add to the powerful words of the Pastor is that what may not be widely known is that the North was in the precipice of LOSING the Civil War to the Confederate South, who were backed by Wall Street, whose greed was fueled by FREE SLAVE LABOR. But know that it was the Black soldiers that kept Confederate soldiers at bay until Sherman could reach Atlanta, which ended the war in favor or the Northern Union. Add this to the list of how black people have preserved freedom in this country! Praise God
