Rev Lee Stoneking. Knowing Who You Are

At a young age I was raised in the Pentecostal church. I was blessed to have this man visit our church multiple times and hear him in person. As I grew older, I strayed away from God. I eventually hated Him and everything His word stood for. I was lost in a very dark place. Only recently did I come to this realization and begin my journey again. It has been so difficult, as it is so much easier as a child than a troubled young adult. I began wondering about Brother Stoneking again, I hoped he was alive so I could meet him again. I learned he passed away and went to meet our Creator years ago, however, God is still not done using him. This video popped up in my recommendations seemingly out if nowhere, but the title pulled me in. Years later after his death, his sermons are still changing lives. Today is the first day I broke down this heavily and found my footing again. I am human a d may fail, but as Brother Stoneking said "God does not treat us the way we treat Him." I'm so thankful to have met this man in my lifetime. Idk who needs to hear this, but God hasn't left your side. He's waiting on your return home. All we have to do is surrender ourselves to Him. All glory to God and may His will be done!

I had an amazing time my first two years in church, 1986 and 87. The services were about faith and miracles. This was special for me considering I broke my neck in a diving accident. God told me I was healed, I was young enough to believe it, I told Bro. Stoneking about it, he smiłed and "you will like what I have to say tonight". He spoke about the gift of healing through the ministry of angels and how it works. No, I did not get out of my wheelchair during those first two years period however when I got back to my home church knowing that God would heal me one day there happened to be in evangelist at church that night that actually kneeled by my wheelchair and said I know why am here and listen to what I have to say. So I am listening again and the title of the message was when Jesus saw their faith about how to lame man's friends Lowood him through the roof to the feet of Jesus. He told me "sister, the work is done". I talked to my pastor about this and he told me quite boldly but gently sister you are not ready to be healed yet". Years have gone by and looking back at that time, my pastor was right. Well, it is 2018, I am still in this condition.. God has gave me many dreams and other people have dreams too. So when I have really low times about why it hasn't happened yet God will give me a word through preaching through someone through the word. We have to trust what God tells us and learn what he has to teacher us and remember God's timing is the right time. It is funny but at this point, I still believe He will do it to His glory, but if you stayed with me and read this to the end I would rather see him calm in the clouds and take us away and be with him for eternity. When I was younger I had all kinds of plans about what I would do when I got out of this chair. I cannot believe how much the years have taught me. God is much more concerned with spiritual maturity than outward healing. Again, it is timing. Remember Rema. Don't worry about what other people think about what God has told you because sometimes they are the biggest dream killers of anyone especially those in our churches period wait on God and he shall bring it to pass!
