I may be wrong, but I think you can leave the front pin in, and remove the rear body clips and the body will hinge forward.

Yes that's how it's intended to be used. Same as my phoenix kit.

@@HolmesHobbies there is two servo mount to use the vfd twin transmission. That give it dig an overdrive to the front. Or natural front an rear when on a 3 way switch. I love my phenix with vfd twin transmission. Just adds to the fun haven so many options to play with.

Like everything except the body clips. I guess I've been spoiled with inner fender body mounts which just work so nice. The rest of it is certainly very sweet.

The vanquish transition from a boutique brand to a bonified market contender ruffled a few feathers I'm sure. However, the RTR market was definitely the way to go and progress the company as an established volume brand. They discontinued their flagship models but I can't wait to see what's next in store! I'm sure it'll be fantaboulistic just as all their other drops so far. Good to see them killing it! I went from wishing I could afford a vanquish to owning 3 in a matter of just over a year! They're still not cheap but they are definitely more attainable and the RTR option gives us a great base to start and enjoy while we save up for more upgrades if we'd like. Rather than sitting there having to piece your build slowly as you could afford it.

It's a shame the Fordyce kicked out the Phoenix. The Phoenix, in my opinion, was a much better RTR. Sintered axle gears in the Fordyce just doesn't give me confidence. That alone is over $100 to convert to machined. Not to mention the loss of the VFD twin too. Giving up all that for the cost savings of only $20... The math just doesn't add up. Maybe if the Fordyce came in around a $100 cheaper than the Phoenix it would make sense.

I own three Vanquish trucks, two of them are Holme's Hobby electrics throughout. I seriously won't buy an RTR. To much to throw away. If I were to buy one though, this would be one of the contenders. Have fun all.
