I like shapeshifter better because you can actually kill when your shape shifter. When I tried to kill someone when I was invisible and it didn't work and I was pretty disappointed. 😢

imo I love phantom more because I feel it’s more skill based. Phantom requires good timing and a smart plan to get sneaky kills whereas a shapeshifter can just hide, shift, and kill infront of anyone.

My favourite phantom play is on polus, I’ll go south the office at game start before vanishing and going directly to lab. I’ll wait for someone to go to decontam then uninvis and kill them. I’ll also switch off lights to prevent people from seeing me afterwards.

Shapeshifter trick: Firstly,shapeshift in a place where no ones there. Then unshapeshift in a public place and they will think the person you shapeshifted,shapeshifted to you.

Shape shifer is my favorite role because I love following the room, seeing own person run the opposite way, stay back long enough to transform into that person then kill someone in the middle of the big group in cold blood. It starts the chaos early. I then never kill unless I'm shifted or if I kill as myself alone then I immediately shift and run away.

Bro I think the shapeshifter role is better because you can easily blame other crew, I give phantom an 8 out of 10 because you cannot kill while invisible but you can go invisible and then once you go near a player go visible and then kill them, then vent so no one suspects a thing

Phantom is my fave though if there’s multiple imposters, a shapeshifter can usually shapeshift as one of his imposter friends and so it’ll make it appear as though that person is being framed

SS is definetly better. When you’re a phantom and you kill someone and turn invisible, the person who reports it will just say that they didn’t saw anyone kill so they’ll skip. But if you’re the SS, shape into someone and kill, you can stand next to the body and the person reporting it will blame the guy who you shifted into, and they’ll kick them out. Which is pretty funny, since the person you shifted in has no idea why they’re getting blamed on 😂 plus you can win easier and faster since more crewmates get eliminated this way

Phantom woulda been better if you could kill while invisible. Hopefully they update Phantom to allow that to happen. I would love to be invisible, kill in a group and frame everyone else. Same principle of Phantom applies to SS. Ask where everyone is, see whos unaccounted for. Makes no sense to kill, have a giant poof around me that everyone can see just to go invisible. Just Innersloth settings for it is imbalanced. Intendedly, the ss duration is 10s, only enough to get away in swift action, messing around resulting in bring caught.
