Apple really needs to get back into the router game. I want them to add all their software features and integrations that other companies just don’t add or they put behind a paywall after already spending a fortune on the equipment (cough cough Amazon Eero) 🐬

I can care less about the other home products but the Apple Extreme is a MUST!!! The Apple Extreme was the BEST wifi router I ever owned. I had access to my wifi a whole city block away and my coverage never dropped for any reason. I”m not sure if there was ever a real problem with the product but for me it was perfect, around the house and beyond. I can’t wait for the new Apple Extreme!!

Apple Router "could" download iOS update for all household members THEN it only needs to be downloaded once and all devices can update from that image loacally rather than stressing WAN networks

Siri needs a major upgrade. I have the original HomePod and 4 HomePod minis. They sound way better than my Alexa and Google homes. I used airport extremes for years until they just couldn’t keep up. I would love to switch back.

New router and minis as mesh routers. Offer a 5G cellular back up within the router itself for the times when your internet goes down.

Apple better come back and show the rest of the home router companies how to create an app interface that make sense, it is not going to be perfect but there are only less than 5 routers that support Apple HomeKit router feature in the market right now.

I think I still have an old AirPort Time Capsule in storage. It would make sense that maybe a new HomePod mini or ATV would come spring and coincide with the 18.4 release of the new and improved Siri. I would put myself in the same moderate HomeKit user category. Maybe 50-60 devices but only like 10 useful automations. Question and perhaps another video topic, but does your spouse lean into the Apple Home or is it a point of friction?

One thing that I wish Apple would update overall I wish they would update the iMessage Apple games for once we have not had a refresh ever in history for the Apple iPhone games. We need a refresh, a major one.

My APE just worked day in, day out. When we moved the movers dropped it and it stopped working. It was 10 years old. I will replace my current mesh system if Apple comes out with a new state-of-the-art Wi-Fi router.

Just got a second HomePod 2 for a stereo setup for my TV, but now seeing this, wishing I would have waited. However, maybe the Apple TV will carry the intelligence to the HomePod setup?!? That would be nice!

Why is no one talking about how Apple just Sunset unofficially The AirPods Max w/⚡️, AirPods 2 & 3, AirPods Pro 1 with the exact same firmware for all. 6F21. The most unethical part is they are still selling the expensive Max w/⚡️ in retail and on-line stores. Only to be downloaded with the kiss of death shortly thereafter.

My take on Apple intelligence… “it’s gonna be awesome” … it’s gonna be! They promised a lot! And they haven’t delivered, and they still haven’t but it’s gonna be awesome… some day! I believe that it’s gonna be great! But I’m starting to get worn out of the constant delays and over promising and under delivering! I wanna be blown away by Apple again!!! I know they can do it! But I’m just not seeing it, I’m constantly getting the “someday” it’s going to be awesome!!!

I have the HomePod mini and hate it. Sounds great but using it with my Mac or TV the lag is horrible. I wish they they would have included a jack for sound input.

As much as I want Apple to make a TV Set, I think it might make more sense to just add an hdmi-in hub to the Apple TV Box for your other devices, that way it can handle inputs, picture/audio settings without having to enter a low margin market 🤌
